Title: Egypt’s Upper House Says Female Protesters Are Responsible For Their Own Sexual

The Egyptian Shura Council says women are responsible if they are abused. (Hiwar)

Egypt’s Shura Council, the upper house of Parliament, today condemned female protesters for being sexually assaulted at protests. Politicians went as far to describe the female protesters as “prostitutes.”
The Egypt Independent reported:

Shura Council’s human rights committee members said on Monday that women taking part in protests bear the responsibility of being sexually harassed, describing what happens in some demonstrators’ tents as “prostitution.”

This sounds just like some American men who claim women deserve to be abused for daring to speak up or dress provocatively.  In  Saudi arabia there have been calls for even baby girl children to be fully covered because because some  men can not control themselves even to the children

Husbands who beat their wives if they dare say anything or even if they do not. Men who go out of their way to victimize women claiming it is their fault for what they do to them.

In Islam have we not seen women victimized  for any reason and with their code of justice the woman usually gets it also from the law.

I'm not asking you to restate the premise; I'm asking you to name this group of American men that think it's OK to beat women.

Islam is a culture. It is a society with its own rules that states DV is not only acceptable but morally obligatory.

If "some American men" feel they have a right to do so they do so contrary to law and social more.

If there is a group in America that promotes the idea that DV is acceptable I would be interested to know who they are.
