28. No, but you're apparently the only one who decided to make an OP out of it.

33. What didn't think of it?
Go bash someone else pal.
On edit,
LONG after you and your pals are gone, I'll still be here. So go find someone else to stalk. OH and have a nice day.

That's a basic fact.

90. Yes it will, the NFL will have enriched itself.....
more people will go to bed hungry than attend the super bowl. More people will got to emergency rooms as a last resort because of their illness because they have no health care than will attend the super bowl.
And on and on. One Super Bowl ticket would pay for my medications for a year.
And God will be given credit for these assholes throwing a ball around.....

125. I just don't get it.
One would think that with your engaging personality that "assholes" would be lining up around to block to give you money for your medications.
Like many people who will be watching the game, I will watch and remain fully confident that these few hours on this Sunday will in no way hinder whatever money is spent or hours dedicated to helping those less fortunate.
Enjoy spending your Sunday afternoon judging others, sounds exhilarating.

109. I watch every moment of the game every year.
I am not excited about the half time or the commercials, but I love the game.

218. Why do people that suposedly don't give a shit about things make such a big deal about not giving a shit about them? I could make a hundred posts about things that I don't give a shit about, but I don't. Why don't I make those posts? Because I actually don't give a shit about them, and I'm not so attention starved that I have to make a big deal about shitting on someone else's parade. If you really didn't give a shit about the Super Bowl, this post wouldn't exist.

A lot of Churches have something called the "Souper Bowl" on Superbowl weekend, people put money in a big bowl and it's donated to food banks and soup kitchens.
What I don't get is the stupid ****'s comment that one ticket would pay for his medications for a whole year.
Whoop-dee-doo.
One ticket would pay all of franksolich's bills for a whole year.
So.....what's the stupid ****'s point?

There's no point, these people are just jealous of people who get to do something not everyone gets to do, they're so angry all the time because someone might have something they wish they could have.

Well, you being who and what you are, have necessary expenses, perhaps even onerous ones, that I don't have.
And the opposite's equally true.
You're not bawling for pity, and I'm not bawling for pity, like the stupid **** the brain-damaged primitive is.
After all, we didn't have to pay for those tickets, used by other people, for the Super Bowl. That was their own money they used, and they were free to use it in any way they wished.

So DB prefers to 'enrich' the people from Top Gear and Netflix. Someone want to burn a mole? Go post about being the only person who doesn't give a flip about Top Gear and Netflix.
Last I heard Netflix was pretty popular and I think they make actual money because you know ... they're a business!
KC
One Super Bowl ticket would pay for my medications for a year.Buying even the most expensive Super Bowl tickets would be no big deal.
Although there's some sentiment out there that the league doesn't charge enough, multiple surveys have confirmed that because of the way tickets are distributed, only about one-fifth of the stadium pays more than face value for their tickets. And remember, if a broker sold a ticket for $3,000, it doesn't necessarily mean he's making that much money.

80. I've never liked sports. I don't like the idea that those who lose, feel badly.
DainBramiged, Apocolypsehow, ThatPoetGuy, HangOnKids are all nasty, rude peices of work. I've gone toe to toe with those primitives many times. :hammer:
I'm not familiar with the other ones, but the carbuncled-faced brain-damaged primitive oftentimes leaves me with my eyes as big as saucers, my mouth agape, at his preposterous notion that he's worth anything to humanity.
I've had run ins with those in particular, ApocolypseNow mostly posts in the Meta forum and is notorious for going after gun owning members as is DainBramiged.
I probably won't last much longer in that cesspool, I'm really starting to call out the really nasty primitives and usually that's when the Admins will use the banhammer.
I did help get Whovian banned, I was on a couple of juries and voted to get his posts hidden. :rotf:
Those idiots at DU have no idea how badly they've been compromised.
I have been doing some arguing but only when other primitives step in and argue first.
But in this rare instance, the Bostonian Drunkard was spot on.
What I don't understand is the desire to hate people for their different tastes.I think this was the first Super Bowl I've watched in 20 years. I don't care about football or professional sports at all, but it was a hell of a game.
I didn't watch the Superbowl, being English I've never been introduced to American Football and what it all means - I don't get in the least bit concerned that several million people have had their lives enriched by some fun, however.
So too, I greatly enjoyed watching the opening week-end of the 6 Nations, but don't expect those who aren't rugby fans to witter on about the cost of the tournament.

The irony is that tools like Dain Bramage wouldn't say a damn thing about paying for a ticket to a concert with prices that start at $350 or better for their favorite singer or group.
