There are a lot of news articles on this, most are from the left and calling it an invasion. The Seattle Times (http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2020241216_westneat30xml.html) headline reads "Impromptu gun show tarnishes buyback". The Article goes on to claim "If the spectacle of anonymous dudes with cardboard signs running a gun bazaar under the freeway doesn’t convince you our gun laws are too lax, nothing will."
The DailyKos (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/01/28/1182826/-Seattle-Police-Gun-Buyback-Program-usurped-by-Gun-Dealers#) (yes I know its Marxist site) called the Gun Owners buying guns before the police "Usurping" and "Unconstitutional".
The Raw Story calls the "loophole" a "hijacking". The LA Times has a story about the missile launcher (I think it was a Stinger) that was bought and confiscated by police.
The Blaze (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/01/28/private-buyers-invade-seattle-gun-buyback-offer-cash-for-firearms-that-would-otherwise-be-destroyed-by-police/) headline reads "Wait Until You Hear the Clever Way Private Gun Buyers Invaded a Gun Buyback Program in Seattle.
My take? Good for them. I can not wait to hear more about other Cities having the same thing happen when they try to "buy back" guns.

How is buying a gun "unconstitutional", Kossacks?

I hope more private gun buyers start doing this. Keep the city from using tax dollars to feed the low life criminals and thugs and save the guns from being melted down or ending up in some crooked cop or politicians hands

God Bless America, and God Bless the free market system.
