Title: How to Start A Truck
Post by: SSG Snuggle Bunny on January 29, 2013, 09:08:24 PM
Step 1: On the way to the truck pour yourself a coffee and retrieve a blueberry muffin from the continental breakfast buffet

Step 2: Juggle your jacket, the coffee and the muffin as you attempt to unlock the driver side door to the truck

Step 3: Upon realizing the door lock is stuck, set the coffee and the muffin on the hood of the truck

Step 4: At the sound of the "plop" retrieve the muffin from the snow

Step 5: Open the truck door and set the coffee inside the cup holder then throw your jacket across the cab, spilling your coffee

Step 6: Set the muffin on the hood and retrieve the snow scraper from the cab of the truck

Step 7: Slam the truck door in disgust, catching a face full of snowy powder.

Step 8: Retrieve the muffin from the snow again

----

You are now ready to start the truck.

Sorry.  But, it made me laugh.  I got about four inches of powder dumped on my head and down my neck yesterday morning trying to duck the branches to get to my car.  Couldn't give them a flick with my hand before going underneath them because I was carrying things that I needed at work.

My friend recently moved to Iowa and said the same thing.

He was going to take a picture of his thermometer outside but it was so cold his phone would not work.
