Post by: Traveshamockery on January 29, 2013, 11:11:42 AM: My husband and I have totally different tastes in music, especially when it comes to 70s music. I'm a disco, pop hits, and classic rock fan. He is purely classic rock. When we still had CDs, he would not allow my CDs to be anywhere close to his. He threatened many times to smash into smithereens my Saturday Night Fever CD. He is totally anti-disco.

When we ride in my car, we usually end up listening to my playlist, but only for a bit because he threatens to throw my iPhone out the window.

So, I'm starting a thread for what songs would be on your "Jukebox from Hell." I don't really have one because there is no music I can't stand to listen to.

I took my wife to see it on Saturday, for her birthday which was Friday. I loved this movie. The singing is awesome. I didn't know that Russell Crowe had such a high tenor voice, but he did manage to hit the right notes. If I had my ballot for the Academy, I'd check every box that this movie was up for. Would I see it again? Maybe. It's almost 3 hours long.

The girls in that video probably look a lot nicer than what actually went down. Artistic license is nice if you can get away with it. :-)

Schade, me and Pooky (I don't know if you know her) saw Styx and 38 Special a few years ago. Pooky got us back stage passes and we got to meet them all.

Also, I don't think the Woodstock movie has the Grateful Dead in it... major bummer.

I said previously I don't have my own jukebox from hell. I retract that statement. It would have anything done by Styx with the name Kilroy in the lyrics.

They really, really sucked when Dennis DeYoung decided to change it up. Epic fail!

I have a soft spot for them, as they were one of my Dad's favorites. And, we played BrokeDown Palace at his funerals, even the one at Quantico. Dad took me to see them so, again with the memory.

Do I have any of their CDs? Nope. I just can't not like them, but I understand why people would or wouldn't.

Typical Dead stuff... an 18 minute video and the song doesn't start until the ten-minute mark. :rofl:

I absolutely loathe Donna Godchaux. What a horrible singer... and they left her in the band for years along with her husband. I guess Jerry was too interesting in his next fix of heroin to fire her.
