I trust my therapist completely, but the ONE subject I am very nervous to talk to her about is SEX
If she were a guy, it wouldn't be a problem for me. Not trying to be sexist, but I'm too old fashioned when it comes to that subject to just feel very comfortable talking to a woman. I know, my PCP is a woman, and she has done every embarrassing medical exam possible, I survive those.
I need a couple of hours with a male therapist to get this stuff off my chest.

I was celibate for a long time and I know a lot of people find that strange. It was also difficult for me to explain why. It turned out that I had some issues with sex that I needed to work through. My drive was there and everything functioned okay, but even after I met my wife and we started having sex I still had a problem for a little while.

I guess after everything, this is trivial, and as with so many things, if I just bite the bullet and go with the flow, I'll get over it.
Therapy Thursday may be a little awkward at first, that's all. We're picking up where we left off, which was basically me talking about my experiences, or overall lack thereof. And she was asking me why I felt like I wasn't worthy of having a relationship, after I told her I was about the worst possible catch anyone could imagine, or in the terminology I used on the Men's Group forum a few weeks ago, an "epsilon male" (after the caste system in Brave New World).

I think the fact that Dennis' therapist is a woman is important for his recovery. Also, I always tell it to Dennis the way I see it.

It was roughly the length of "War and Peace." An internet acronym was made just for you, Dennis. It's "TLDR."
This is one reason you don't get girls. You're a crashing bore. There is nothing more boring than reading/hearing about someone's workout. Nothing. Reading the tax code is more exciting. At least maybe you can find a loophole.

I must say, he's at least being honest. Now compare this with their turgid, chest thumping political persona, safely hidden behind the anonymity that is the Internet. Hilarious.

I'm sure there is some deeply-troubled sexually-dysfunctional perverted Democrat psycho witch out there Dennis can meet and then make as mutually miserable - and hopefully suicidal - as they both deserve. I do hope they'll be infertile though, assuming their own kinks allow them to even fit the appropriate body parts together that would even raise the issue.

This is typical DUmbass bullshit. Unless the moron is at a sex therapist, actual physical sex probably won't come up. The point of therapy for someone with bipolar disorder is (along with meds) to provide a way for the patient to recognize his swings and attempt to manage them so that they don't become debilitating. Talking about what he does in bed with whom (or with what) is less important than the underlying lack of self worth that sometimes accompanies bipolar disorder. A therapist is also not a matchmaker, so when the DUmmy tries to attract flattery by repeatedly claiming that he is not worthy of love, the therapist will focus on that rather than attempting to soothe his nerves.
In other words: it's a difficult process, not a way to get someone to say, "you're a GREAT catch!" Dennimiinnmi will spend thousands of the bank's stupidly-lent dollars figuring that out.
