As soon as I saw this story on the news, about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed requesting the death penalty to achieve martyrdom, I really wondered what the DUmmies were saying. This has to be such a conundrum for them....... they hate the death penalty, but the poor innocent victim of * has asked for it, and anyone being illegally detained should be given what they want, by DUmmy standards. What to do? What to do?
So I ventured over, and was immediately greeted with mike_c and his usual traitorous bull.

13. I "personally believe" that the evidence has not been heard....
...that the nature of the crime has not even been established-- do you believe the government's version of the Sept. 11 events?-- and that any evidence the government might have in this case was obtained under torture. Do I believe he's innocent? Yes, as a matter of fact, I believe he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, under due process. Since he is being afforded neither, he is de facto innocent.

For all their bluster and flowery prose about "due process" and "human rights", it comes down to this: There are a lot of DUmbasses who just love people like KSM. He's their romaticized version of the revolutionary they want to be but don't have the nuts to act upon. He represents the "little man" who pokes their finger in the eye of the powerful, and when the powerful is the United States under a Republican administration so much the better. Just like they love Fidel and Hugo and Mumia and the memory of Che and any one of a dozen other barbaric misanthropes. They love totalitarian mindsets as long they A) promote the same beliefs they do or B) are anti-American, which with DUmmies usually amounts to the same thing.
KSM is an non-uniformed, foreign combatant who basically declared war against the U.S. and bears responsibility for thousands of innocent civilians' deaths. The U.S. is under no obligation legally or morally to provide the same legal process we afford our citizens to non-citizen enemies like him. **** him. As it is he's getting a lot better than he deserves.

I know where the mike_c primitive's coming from, and I've known a lot of people like the mike_c primitive.

...and bad sex ed, but that doesn't make it abusive. It's bad parenting too, IMO-- the girl is just too young to understand, and it violates broadly held taboos against sharing intimacy. It would make my skin crawl to do it. It's a bad idea, any way you look at it. But I don't think it's abusive. If it is, what of all the kids around the world who live in intimate contact with their parents every day and every night? Are they being sexually abused too?
We jump way too easily to apply labels like "sexual abuse" or "child abuse" to cases that simply represent questionable judgment.
So the article that Mike C. made many comments about dates to Feb. 11,2007. At least that narrows it down a little. This was NOT the quote I was looking for by the way. I have to get my kids to school so I will have to look some more in an hour or so.
