This Sen. Cruz from Texas seems like a real piece of work.....
WASHINGTON -- Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) dismissed the military credentials of two of President Barack Obama's cabinet nominees Saturday despite the fact that both are veterans.
"Okay, we've got two pending nominations, John Kerry and Chuck Hagel," he said in responding to a question at the National Review Institute summit in Washington. "Both of whom are very prominently -- "
Cruz took a pregnant pause. "Anti-us?" said a moderator.
"Less than ardent fans of the U.S. military," he continued. .....................(more)

Meanwhile the RINOs are all racing to be the first one to praise John effin Kerry. :mental:

Well did you know John Kerry served in Vietnam?
:-) :-)
-
Isn't John Kerry the guy who use to sit in the jungles of Vietnam and attach telephone wires to his genitals and turn the crank while singing Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" between his electric screams?

I didn't know that. :thatsright:
The only person that didn't know that slipped across the southern border last night......and Kerry will inform him/her very soon.

Can't have, if he had he would have mentioned it when he was running for president.

I voted for that man!!! Ted Cruz, that is. :-)

You know, I find it odd that the primitives don't seem to be discussing Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey, and his Bostonian Drunkard-Scott Ritter sort of problem.

DU is full of RACISTS. :panic:

Yeah, in Cambodia. He was sent there by Nixon...before he was even sworn in...musta whispered in Johnson's ear. That was about the same time Sonoma Hillbilly Bill was doing super secret missions with Seal Team 6. Wonder if the 2 of them ever crossed paths?

Woohoo! Same here.

We ROCK! :cheersmate:
Such a good feeling, to be part of something good, instead of something ok, or better than the other thing we could do.

Cruz now has Chuck Hagle on the hot seat.
He's asking if Hagle believes that the U.S. should become a party to the International Criminal Courts.
Hagle didn't give a clear yes or no answer.
Now Cruz is playing part of an interview Hagle did on al Jazeera in 2009
Hagle said that Israel commintted war crimes in the interview, but then told Cruz he didn't say that.
Oh man, Cruz is really going after him - it's now on C-Span 1
Just ran across this tweet from Brit Hume

It's probably dawning on Sens. who didn't serve w/Hagel that he's just not very bright. Exchange w/McCain unresponsive & bumbling.
-
It's all good.
Once so full of promise, Hagel turned out an utter disappointment, having forgotten his Nebraskan roots.
Let him sink.

Well if W is responsible for Waco, even though he wasn't even governor yet, then this could have happened too. :-)

Me, too - and I love him!

Me, too - and I love him!
I couldn't bring myself to vote for him. Because it would have been illegal for me to vote in Texas.
-
What about a Cruz/Rubio ticket? Or a Rubio/Cruz ticket?

What... you idiots have a problem with exposing lies?
Wait, dumb question. :thatsright:

No problem, just head down to Duval County. You can vote a couple of times.

Cruz/West. :texas:

It's all just partisan theater. This hearing has no meaning whatever.
There are 55 democrats in the Senate.
If the jug-eared muslim wants this shithead to be Secretary of Defense, he will be Secretary of Defense.

Yep, and it doesn't help that Graham and McCain are on board as well.
-
I'm kinda wondering just who the Obamessiah has 'on the bench' to replace Hagel. There was Scary John Kerry behind Susan Rice for the SofS slot. The 'bench of idiots' is deep.

Well, it's not going to hurt this Nebraskan's feelings if he gets rejected.
He probably should be anyway.

I forgot to mention earlier, I did that for you, so everything is fine.
You're good.

I doubt it. Unlike TITty boy, Lurch was at least in Viet Nam.

Probably used his boat to pick up girls.....and he didn't have to pay property tax on it either.

Yes, he was.
But he wasn't on our side.

My vote was the first vote to put Cruz in the black on Election Day.

Cruz/West. :texas:
That won't happen though. I love West but doubt someone would pick someone who lost is congressional seat, even if the establishment assholes did it on purpose. As Cruz is so new, he probably won't even run this time. Maybe he can take the crybaby's place, though. Can't believe they keep electing him as Speaker.

Cruz hammered the Nebraska Nitwit on some things that even I didn't know about. Like his statements on AJ English.
Showing the video and letting the rest of the Senators hear Hagel's words with their own ears was a stroke of genius.
All Levin could do was grumble about how he wished Cruz had just read the transcript. :rotf:
Lord, please let us get a few more Republicans in Congress with the backbone of Ted Cruz.
-
My vote was the first vote to put Cruz in the black on Election Day.
I'm pretty sure that's racist.

It confuses the DUmmies.

I got the impression from what I read yesterday that neither of the Wonder Twins were gonna vote for him.
-
I doubt it. Unlike TITty boy, Lurch was at least in Viet Nam.
Yeah but after reading Corsi's book on him...he was there sightseeing and trying his best to NOT be there.
There used to be a poster at ToS tht served with F'n Kerry. He said one time the book was a spot on description of him.

Oh, I know, I was merely pointing out that Kerry's presence in Nam can be verified, not that he did anything other than be a whiny malingerer.
:-)

You can never tell with those two. I think on even numbered days they are republicans and odd numbered days they are democrats. :-)
