To Those that say tyranny,tyranny- I say BULL. You are free/open writing here on a worldwide board
You yell tyranny
President Obama is taking away your rights
blah blah blah blah blah
fascism, authoritarianism, thisism thatism
yet you say it on a worldwide searchable googleable chat board/discussion board that
anyone and everyone who wants to can read from any computer in the entire world.
cut the bull. It is bullshitism.
If our President were the person you people yelling tyranny was saying,
do you think you would have that right at all?
I travel to the deep south from NY area, and guess what, I can read my words.
I have friends overseas that all the time READ MY WORDS in places ten thousand miles away or more.

Were it the way the complainers say, your words would NOT be read by anyone, nor would they be allowed.

and what is more democratic, than having to put up with the shit Fox News says every single day of the year.

If you just change a few words that rebuke would apply to DU from 2001 through 2009.
There was thread after thread abut the tyranny of Chimpy McHitler. Yet none of these goons were posting from the gulag.
The reality is, tyranny often does not affect all your rights at once. Like right now we still have the freedom to speak out against 0bama every time he does something bad. I realize that he is dreaming up ways to shut us up, but for now we can still freely call him out.
Meanwhile he is taking other rights from us and has forced more government control down our throats and has made our lives more difficult. It just happens that guns is the latest shiny object attracting the left and they are focusing on chipping away at the second amendment.

It starts small, a law, here, there, few more rules and regulations, an Executive Order and you find yourself on a slippery slope sliding faster and faster...
Anyone who tells you the slippery slope is untrue has an agenda...

What part of the Democratic part am I missing??and who thought up the Jury system?

I kind of miss the old Democraticunderground...you know,the one where your post was answered by a named person,instead of an anonymous person you cannot even respond too.Some "Jury" decides to hide my post because it is outside the norm for a Dem?Do we have to be in lockstep with everyone else to post a point of view here anymore?Jury system is a joke....hammer someone and give him no right of discussion.
