He's wondering if others are keeping their New Year's resolutions:

So, how are the Resolutionistas doing at your gym?
At mine, it's pretty packed in the evenings, but not as bad in the mornings, when I'm ordinarily there, as I thought it could be. Tripping over a few guys in the locker room from time to time, but not unbearable. I bet a lot of the newbies don't last, we already lost a couple in my six am group fitness class, they were on the three week complimentary trial and decided not to continue.
and he talks about the origin of his fear of water:

I didn't come up with the phrase, I saw someone else use it here a couple of weeks ago and thought it was witty.
Nice set up. I haven't seen the outside pool at my gym, being winter coupled with the fact that I don't swim at all. The indoor pools are pretty nice, they have an actual Olympic type pool, plus a "family pool" for fooling around, waterslide, etc.In fact, I'm pretty afraid of the water. When I was 6, my idiot ex-brother in law thought it would be funny to throw me off the end of a dock into the lake. His theory was it was a sudden introduction to swimming. Actually, it was a quick course on how to drown. I came pretty close before he hauled me out.
BUT, that is one of my oh-so-many goals. By the end of the summer, I want to have taken swimming lessons and gotten over my fear. Next fall, I'm taking the "boot camp" course. Swear to God I'll make it that far by then.

Hey dummie Dennis? I gots me an idea here. Why don't you call up undergroundpanther? Ya all can be room mates in the looney bin. She is just as screwed up in the head as you.

This primitive is doing a poor job at flaunting his ability to afford a gym membership, in front of the other primitives.
-
Typical DUmmy, afraid of water--and soap too, I'll bet.

Is that what it's called? :rotf:

Uh, DUmmy Dennis the Menace can't afford that luxury gym.
It's just part of the enormous credit card debt he ran up during his most recent manic phase.
He's started a new depression cycle since the jug-eared muslim threw lunatics like him under the bus on guns.

He should have a new OP soon when the Christmas credit card purchases all get put on the statement. Massive moans and multiple poor-me's. It will be fun to read.
One of his responses about debt even talked about putting advance payments to his therapist on the credit card. He really is a loon.

Oops, must have missed that. Carry on; I'm an idiot.

Poor guy, after all the work outs he is afraid to get into the hot tub. OK a big pool can intimidate those that cannot swim, but, the pool is not all one depth.
Fall off a bike, get back on boy, people face their fears and over come them.
