 Taverner (51,774 posts)

I had no idea Alton Brown was racist and sexist...

I always thought of him like a food version of the Mythbusters

But it turns out he's a fundie, a homophobe and a racist.

He can be cranky and tweets with post-its. Now that is original and pretty funny at times.

However, I absolutely believe he is a weirdo Fundie but he tries to keep that to himself. Oh ya... I can spot them a mile away

I noticed during the election, people would ask him to comment and he pretty much took the stance, if you can't say something nice...

I am quite sure, in the foodie world, he's an outlier. Most of the Foodies promote progressive ideas and lavished their love on Obama during the campaign

I'll take Mario Batalli over AB, any day

A "stitch"?

The gone off primitive's an old rich guy with a much younger trophy wife, with pretensions about all things English.

More like:

• GONIFF (noun)

The noun GONIFF has 1 sense:

1. (Yiddish) a thief or dishonest person or scoundrel (often used as a general term of abuse)

I dunno his past history--he hangs around the cooking and baking forum sometimes--but only his present history, and it seems he "went offshore" when the evil George Bush became president.

He's probably still offshore--the Cayman Islands or something--hiding his wealth from the kleptomaniacs.

Guy Feiri is not a fan of the homosexual agenda.  Now Food Network has Guy stuck on some show with a flaming skating fag.  The network must be trying to teach him a lesson.

I think Guy is kind of touchy about the whole homo thing because he grew up with his real family name:  Ferry.

Would you want to be the boy at school known as the guy ferry?

Failure to praise the lord is proof of infidelity.

Aside from perhaps Paula Deen having Frau Obumbles on her show, I'm not aware of any particular bias of any celeb chef, although given the propensity of them working in NYC, LA, etc., it isn't a huge stretch to imagine them as liberals.

But then again, none of them are "in your face" about it, to my knowledge.

I knew he swung our way a long time ago, he also had a few quotes on his website from Thomas Jefferson (I don't know if he still does).  I also follow him on twitter.

I have always loved Alton Brown, if I found out he turned into a DUmmie I would ignore it and still watch reruns of Good Eats.

I will say it again:

My first encounter with libs was stepping off a plane from Vietnam in 1968 and face to face I was told Vietnam was MY FAULT, they blamed ME.  Can you imagine the thoughts in my head, I had no idea...then I met them again a few months later on a college campus.

I have studied them for over 40 years...

who they aret:
Liar
Hypocrite
Feared TRUTH
Hated America
Hated the world
destroyers not builders
do as I say, not as I do
