(Amazing) Man shops at Utah JCPenney while carrying assault rifle
(http://www.rawstory.com/rs/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/jcpennyassaultrifle-screen.jpg)
A man in Riverdale, Utah walked into a local JCPenney department store this week armed to the teeth, carrying a holstered handgun, a semi-automatic assault rifle and extra clips on his belt.
The strange display of firepower was enough to draw a scene, with bystanders taking photos and making concerned comments to one another. Images of the man published to Facebook caused a stir in the community and got the attention of ABC 4 in Salt Lake City.
The woman who took the photo that got the most attention said it happened on Wednesday, just four hours after President Barack Obama announced a series of executive orders relating to firearms.
Utah state law, however, says the man’s actions are legal, provided the weapons were unloaded. The man was not positively identified, and JCPenney’s public relations team did not respond to a request for comment.
The assault rifle he was carrying was an AR-15, the same firearms platform used to kill 27 people in Newtown, Connecticut in December. In the wake of that massacre, U.S. officials have called for banning those type of weapons from the civilian sphere, although taking such action would require congressional authorization.
This video is from ABC 4 in Salt Lake City, aired Thursday, January 17, 2013.

I saw this pic on Face Book and I knew the DUmmies were going to throw a fit.
Since the thread is so long I will let you click the link and see how they reacted. :-)
I did notice sloppy reporting, okay maybe sloppy isn't the word since they did it on purpose, but they printed a lie, "The assault rifle he was carrying was an AR-15, the same firearms platform used to kill 27 people in Newtown, Connecticut in December". The evil AR was not even brought in the school and I have heard that the AR may have been an AK, not that it matters because they are both scary to the DUmmies and may as well be the same exact thing.
Give it a few months and they will report that the Newtown shooter had an AR in each hand both with magazines that held 10000 rounds.

There was a woman, that did complain about it. Now that I have seen the light, it doesn't bother me so much anymore.... :yahoo: :yahoo:

I had to wander over and see if anyone claimed he was buying ammo.
They didn't.
Lots of pearl clutching and circle running. :panic:
Naturally, a few boycott threats showed up.

We need to get the right wings to stop this stuff. If they keep boycotting all these stores. Eventually they'll be running around in fig leaves, and we don't want that.

So, woman with holstered pistol in the grocery store doesn't bother you anymore?
To bad most conversions aren't as quick.
(Someone suggested that was a "teaching moment", not a "whipping moment". Having been through Army basic training, I can tell you that both together are at least three times as effective as either one separately.)

Don't know why they are picking on J.C. Pennys for. What were they going to do? IF it was legal to do this and they tried to stop him then guess who would be talking to lawyers and asking them what it would take to stop the lawsuit that would be coming their way? It wouldn't be the guy with the guns. It was stupid for him to do this but it';s to late to scream about it. Not that DUmmies care but people going around armed like that happens everyday is Israel and in Switzerland.

That was me. Having retired from 22 years of active duty, I can tell you when to apply one, the other, or both.

How many people did the shopper with the weapon hurt or kill?

How times have changed !!
I was a gun dealer , specializing in the AR platform , back in the 80's ....
I was going to the annual gun show in St Charles ,IL , at the fairgrounds ...
myself and 2 cohorts show up at the fairgrounds , sling up our AR's we were going to display , walk thru the main entrance and wander around looking for the show ... turns out they'd moved the gun show down the road a few miles , to a different venue , because the fairgrounds was hosting an antique furniture show !!
3 guys , with slung ARs wandered around a furniture show for close to an hour and not a person freaked out , called the cops , panicked or even made a notice of us ...finally a "security guy" on a golf cart drove up and just asked politely if we were looking for the gun show and informed us that it had been moved from it's traditional location ....
How perceptions have changed !!
PS.
not a single furniture shopper was gunned down that day , nor did one of these evil bayonet lugs stab any shoppers ...
