I actually know Paskowitz's dad (on Colbert now)

I've met Dorian Paskowitz and interviewed him for a surf mag I worked for years ago. Good to see his kids carrying on the Paskowitz legend.

"Keep surfing with aloha!" as Dr. Dorian Paskowitz always used to say.

Does anybody know who this Paskowitz guy is?

Never heard of him.

1. Surfing Magazine or Surfer?

They were actually legends to the surf crowd way back.

I had heard of them back in the late 60s.

2. A legend in Texas...

Local surf videos still do segments on Doc Paskowitz's presence on the Gulf coast

Very Cool

So this guy's a surfer?  And Pedro Picasso used to write for magazines?

Well, I kind of wondered if Pedro "Beach Boy" Picasso was pulling a lying titty primitive stunt here, alleging to know someone famous.

I'm sure he'll show up to tell how he used to surf tsunamis with this guy, and how they'd go out together afterwards and get drunk and pick up Laplander reindeer herding chicks. Probably even wrote a song about it.

Oh my.

That's a very interesting site there, about famous surfers and writers about famous surfers.
