There is NO way I would shoot a student. I would shield myself infront of my kids, protect them
but no way would I shoot one.

I am a teacher and I would NEVER be armed at school. There is no way any true teacher would ever consider shooting a student even if that student were shooting in the classroom. We would do all we could to protect our students but that includes ALL students

but my main concern would be to protect the innocent. Whatever happens to a perp isn't quite as important to me. I would hope the situation could be resolved without anyone getting injured first and foremost. But, if that isn't possible my second priority would be to have as little harm done as possible. If that means all I have is a chair to throw at the shooter so be it there will be a chair or whatever thrown at his/her head.

I'm sure once you throw that chair he'll just run right away. Retreat, she has more chairs!!!!!! :lmao:

Of course several of my teachers hunted and one taught a safety course at the school way back when.

You know, DUmmie, anyone can stop a speeding bullet - once. I'm sure the families of the students you failed to protect will be more than understanding of your politics overriding the safety of their children. After all, most of them voted just like you.

So you would let the armed student kill you and as many of the other kids as he possibly could, rather than stopping him from hurting all the other students.
I thought liberalism was all about the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the one. I guess that only applies at tax time.

oh and before you call me a gun grabber, I have my concealed carry as does my husband. We have a few firearms so NO we are not gun grabbers

Considering that maybe 55,000 people in KS have CCW permits (I nadined it) I'd be rather surprised if she AND her drunk husband have them.

More likely than not I'll be she has no idea how much the application fee and processing times are for a CCW permit even are in KS.

Yes.

DUmmies believe that the Kellerman study was a legitimate study, refusing to accept that it was debunked because it was total bullshit.

By believing that it is, in fact, a legitimate study, she has an increased likelihood of being shot with her pink Charter
Arms. By doing so, Mrs Dawson will at least prove some sections of the study as being correct.

ETA:

For those who do know, Kellerman asserted that the presence of a gun in the home would more likely be used on a family member than as a defensive tool.
