BOOYAH! Just scored 2d row center Cowboy Junkies tix!

Infinity Music Hall, Norfolk, CT. Most beautiful concert venue ever. Show was sold out, but while I was trying to book, someone cancelled. 2d row center! It's not until March 4th, so anything could change. Stay tuned...I might have to sell them once the wife finds out. LOL!

http://www.infinityhall.com

(Not spam, I promise. Check out their schedule...they feature lots of come-back tours, and occasionally some big names. It's a classic old concert hall, only about 300 seats so there is never a bad one, and the bands always hang out downstairs after the shows to sign autographs and chat with the audience. And they have a great restaurant/bar. If you can get a mezzanine seat, they'll serve you dinner during the show. What's most amazing is that it's in the middle of Nowhere, CT. I don't know how they get these bands to play here. Check it out. I'm not whoring for anyone, this just happens to be a very fine place I'm proud to recommend.)

It doesn't look like to me the evil twin scored at all.

Too bad for Atman.

They had an almost hit with a Velvet Underground cover in 1989.

You're welcome.

I was so ready to make a masturbation joke based on the title. I am so disappointed.

No, that's a Julian Cope song from around 1991.

So with the cost of those tickets he didn't go out and help a fellow DUmmy? No donation to charity or a church? Wow and all this bitching about how evil republicans are.

Never heard of them either. Was considering making a disparaging remark to PO the pedro.
Listened to Fiddy's video that he posted.  Not bad.

I had no idea they had enough material to put on an actual concert.  Sounds like a real snoozefest.  How can he be that excited?  It'd be like a Sarah McLaughlin concert or something.

They're playing a 300-seat venue in the middle of no place.

Not exactly the Rolling Stones farewell tour.

I guess that explains how a group hardly anyone seems to have heard of sold out their show...

Pedro hasn't been this excited since he had 3rd row center tickets to see The Village People.

Good job, Pedro!

I'm just a little surprised that an unemployed bum like McGrath, living off his wife, is buying concert tickets.

His wife must be doing well.  Probably a Federal employee.

Untrue.  Try it out for yourself.

You can enter the number of tickets you want for the Stage Level and/or the Mezzanine and they're still avaliable.

Why lie about a show being sold out?

Well, what confuses me is a particular comment the evil twin made.

Now, I haven't been on the ground anywhere in Connecticut since the first few years of the Reagan-Bush prosperity, say, the early 1980s, although I'm pretty sure I flew over Connecticut every time I went to Boston every other year the next twelve years.

What's with this "way out in the middle of nowhere" thing?

How is it possible to be out in the middle of nowhere in Connecticut?

Connecticut's a pretty small state; dutch508's county here in Nebraska, population 6,000, is larger than the whole of Connecticut, and dutch508's cattle barony alone is probably at least a quarter the size of that state.

Where is "the middle of nowhere" in Connecticut?  Connecticut's a pretty crowded state, and as I recall it, one couldn't turn around without bumping into someone or somewhere.

It is not even half sold out.
I put in for 8 stage level tickets and when asked if I wanted to change it gave a floor plan of available seats.
I think I counted 176  :lmao:

By the way, the latest:

As I've pointed out many times in the past, primitives such as Atman or the big guy in Bellevue have a more appreciative audience here, than among their own fellow primitives.

Agreed.  If he'd scored third-row for U2, the Stones, or Springsteen, I'd be impressed.

Those clowns wouldn't rate as an opening act for The Dead Kennedys.
