Never Let a Crises Go To Waste...I think that is what obama is doing now...look how the talk about the economy has disapeared off the front pages of the news. Ever since the Sandy Hook School shootings the only thing we hear about is gun control.
Looks like obama is going to get away with raising taxes, raising the debt limit and getting more control over our 2nd amendment rights. Later people are going to lok back and say how did he do that?
Americans have such short attention spans.

Didn't say that. Giving in to the left over the years, incrementally, and allowing them to spew their bile among us has brought what we are seeing now. We, as all Americans, have squandered our birthrights and have subsequently gotten what we deserve.
Whether or not it stays this way remains to be seen.

As for the taxes and debt ceiling stuff, yes we will yawn and piss and moan about it then be off to the next outrage, but for the second amendment part I don't think we will stand for it.
