When the day comes that you think you can have a reasonable debate about gun control
ALL you have to do is read this article and understand what those of us who don't believe that guns are the end all / be all are up against.
After Pinpointing Gun Owners, Paper Is a Target

The maps, which appeared with the article “The Gun Owner Next Door: What You Don’t Know About the Weapons in Your Neighborhood,†received more than one million views on the Web site of The Journal News — more than twice as many as the paper’s previous record, about a councilman who had two boys arrested for running a cupcake stand.
But the article, which left gun owners feeling vulnerable to harassment or break-ins, also drew outrage from across the country. Calls and e-mails grew so threatening that the paper’s president and publisher, Janet Hasson, hired armed guards to monitor the newspaper’s headquarters in White Plains and its bureau in West Nyack, N.Y.
Personal information about editors and writers at the paper has been posted online, including their home addresses and information about where their children attended school; some reporters have received notes saying they would be shot on the way to their cars; bloggers have encouraged people to steal credit card information of Journal News employees; and two packages containing white powder have been sent to the newsroom and a third to a reporter’s home (all were tested by the police and proved to be harmless).
“As journalists, we are prepared for criticism,†Ms. Hasson said, as she sat in her meticulously tended office and described the ways her 225 employees have been harassed since the article was published. “But in the U.S., journalists should not be threatened.†She has paid for staff members who do not feel safe in their homes to stay at hotels, offered guards to walk employees to their cars, encouraged employees to change their home telephone numbers and has been coordinating with the local police.

And they're always crowing about "science." "We believe in Science," they say, "and those idiot teathuglicans do not!" They ought to visit the old law about one action causing an equal and opposite reaction. There's no getting around that, DUmbasses. Do you know what that even means?

The "reasonable debate" ended the day that worthless liberal whore in her meticulously decorated office decided to take it upon herself to be the arbiter of what was right and wrong. She got a full taste of the consequences of her stupidity and arrogance, just like the rest of you collectivist scum.
Weep and rend your clothes, DUmbass, it's only going to get worse from here.

I have personally no problem with this. So the criminals know who has weapons for self defence, may as well publish the town dog registerations on owners who own pit bulls, rottwilers or other kinds of guard dogs.
So I am a crook looking for homes to break into, usefull information on the homes to stay away from.
You know, the homes with alarm systems that can be disabled, no dogs or weapons, darn it is a map to follow to find the victims.
Only people that are upset about all this should be the people that that have no self defence, depend on alarm systems to save their lives. It has been published that their homes are up for the pickings, no defence.
Power outages cause alarms to go off all over town, only so many Cops to investigate the causes.
If it is known that I have guns and dogs on my property, or as Sea mentioned she has a attack cat, Jingles, that carries a CCW ----- the more people that know to stay away is for the better.
