Baby reaches for Doctor's hand before baby was born

The little baby’s name is Nevaeh – Heaven spelled backward. Even the hospital staff told her parents there's something almost spiritual about the picture of Nevaeh holding the doctor's finger before technically being born.

So far no DUmmy is griping that the blob of cells is being called a baby, but I imagine they will.

I have a visceral dislike of that name they gave her--it's dumb, IMO. Difficult to pronounce, and simplistic. The pic is cute, though.
Yeah why couldn't it be a more traditional name like Shameka? :-)

Nuh-Vay-Uh is difficult for you to pronounce? Or is it just that it burns your tongue to pronounce anything that is referencing Heaven?

grab something that's put in there direction. I've seen babies do that all the time. Seems that the people in the comment section thinks it was because of god. It's more of a reflex.
Yeah has to be a reflex since it is just a clump of cells.

It's a lousy name. No apostrophes, only one capital letter, and it doesn't have a "Q".

Saw this yesterday reported. When the pic was shown, my jaw dropped. DUmmies may not believe in heaven, GOD, or miracles, but they exist. (along with a little instinct, and will to live)

But if you modify it a little, to "N'Evaeh", you have a perfectly good 0bamaite name.
"Crimson Tide fans were pleased today when five-star defensive tackle N'Evaeh Brown verbally committed to the Tide."
"Police said nineteen-year-old N'Evaeh Washington died after a drive-by shooting in the 1900 block of M. L. King Blvd."

I hate to tell you but that's been a favorite bastardization of the word heaven since back in the 90s. Every last person I've ever seen use it are single mamas or single mamas living with the latest baby daddy. You don't have to change anything about it. I can remember it being particularly popular among Mexicans in AZ back on the 90s. I know you like to constantly counter anything on du but its a crappy name I've only ever seen used by people who would feel at home on du actually or at least are the bands of useful idiots that help gets Du favorites in office.
