As Paulbots like to post random videos of Ron Paul, you would think liberals would post random videos of some liberal congressman or senator that they all align with and share his/her views? Nope. Overwhelmingly liberals like to link videos to Comedian George Carlin.
Why is that?
If this is in the wrong spot please move. I figure it would be appropriate here.

Not sure, but I love George Carlin.

Same here

t could be his comedy routine where he disses liberals by stating that there is nothing wrong with the environment; it's the f....ked up people living in the environment.

Personally, I never liked Carlin much.
I once read in one of those "Standup Comedy For Dummies" type books where he said, "Comedy is supposed to be disturbing."
I disagree. Comedy is supposed to be FUNNY - to make people laugh, and maybe forget about their problems for a little while; maybe take the sting out of their life situations for a few moments.
There are plenty of GREAT political quotes from conservatives that are impossible to dispute, but liberal political quotes always seem to be from some comedian like Carlin or Jon Stewart or David Letterman, or some other spiteful clown wannabe. Then when you point out how spiteful they are, they do like Bill Maher and say something idiotic like "Hey, it was just a joke! What's YOUR problem? Can't you take a joke?" While I agree that NOTHING they say about politics is worth taking seriously, it's still pathetic of them to cowardly hide behind the "comedian" designation when they get busted for their spite, instead of standing up and acknowledging it's what they REALLY believe.

He's still dead.

Most of the time, Carlin was an equal-opportunity disser. Toward the end of his career, he got extremely bitter though he refused to admit to it.
One of his books - I think "Brain Droppings" - began with this cute little ditty:
"**** Hope"
More than anything, Carlin bashed the powerful, the elite, and the rich. Yeah, he took things on a liberal jag and spoke from a liberal POV, but he was not afraid to grab the liberal elitists and the liberal rich by the gonads and give 'em a good twist.
He gave the rest of us a good twist too, if we failed to catch his meaning.
Carlin was a master at examining the human condition and found IT disturbing. That's what he reported on. His special affinity with words and how we use language was in a class by itself. Nobody even comes close to that skill and ability.
I saw Carlin live in Michigan some years ago. No props, no bullshit. Just a stool for his glass of water and a microphone. Dressed in black.

He was also a rabid atheist.Which is why liberals loved him so much.He had a special hatred for the Catholic Church. Bitter is an understatement.

Yep, he was no fan of religion - Catholic or otherwise.

You think they would quote Clinton, Obama often, but nope. They only use quotes by comedians, and then you get the really hard core fan boys who want the comedians to run for President lolz

Wonder how he feels now?
I'm guessing hotter than the surface of the sun.

Liberals think comedians are the highest level philosophers. Look at the awe in which thew regard Stewart, Mahr, etc., etc.

Those idiots are not comedians. They are political commentators.
