I predict that we're NOT going over the cliff.
Just my gut feeling.
Let's see if I'm right.
Only reason I brought this over is because some believe this primitive in the low thousands is Sabrina1-Nadin's best friend, and advocate. I've never heard of a DUmmie being a good fortune teller even though they dig that kind of thing: fortune telling, tarrot, psychic reasings, astrology, etc.

1. Whatever happens, its all according to plan to scare the crap out of everyone
Once scared, people are much happier accepting "compromise" that is against their interests
That's correct, but again, for the wrong reason, DUmmie. 4 more years, right. So bend over, cause we ain't done yet.

3. Really, such drama, and on New Year's Eve!
What a ridiculous way to run a country.
Says "WorseBeforeBetter." Tell me, DUmmie, how would you run this country into the ground more rapidly?

5. Of course we won't, the cons have played Obama again.
IMO Obama couldn't dump water out of a boot if the instructions were written on the bottom.....he had this thing and it looks like he surrendered again.
How dare he speak of the be all, and the end all in such a way!! It's almost like this primitive isn't grateful for all the government cheese, and the free phone he is getting.
Some primitives are never satisfied...

I predict that no matter what happens the primitives will complain anyway. So does everyone else on this board. What do we win?

You got that right. The sun could come up tomorrow, and they'd bitch up a storm and pick fights with each other at reply #2.

The "Fiscal Cliff" is actually a definition put out by the leftist media that presumes that we actually have a vibrant, healthy economy that is suddenly going to be derailed, or in "danger" of "going over a cliff." The reality is that, since Obama was elected, the economy was well on its way in going over the cliff at THAT point. Right now, I'd say we are speeding halfway from the cliff to the rock-hard ground below, and with this new "deal", it will only decide how much faster we will be going to hit the ground.

Well to the leftist media 1 percent GDP growth and 8 percent unemployment is GREAT!!!! Never mind that there is a liberal dem in the oval office. Now if a GOP is in the oval office, then 6 percent unemployment and 3 percent GDP growth then the economy is terrible!!! At least that was my take on it by all the sob stories about the unemployed the MSM ran during the 2004 election. Funny how I never saw any of those sob stories on the nightly news the last 4 years.

What has he surrendered?
I want to know about all this middle class s*it. Who the heck at DU or CC makes $250,000 a year honestly and pays taxes on it ?
I keep hearing Obama speak of the middle class but unfortunately I just do not run about in their Circle.
We have lots of old money up here but they owe everyone in town, how they hate to pay their bills . They can afford to pay dues at the Country Club or Yacht Club but all the other merchants have to wait for months to get payed.
Strange pecking order here, a wealthy man a member of the Country club married a woman that was just as wealthy, she owned 9-10 beauty salons in Boston. Few of the wives would sit at at their table as who wants to spend a fortune to belong to a club and sit next to a hair dresser. Yes, snobs are still around.
So who are the millions of folks that are considered middle class by Obamas standards ????

I guarantee you that if Romney would have won the election the leftist media would be proclaiming a 15-20% unemployment rate and a -10% growth rate. Keep in mind that jobs created by GOP presidents passed were dissed as "hamburger-flipper" jobs, which are an inherent part of any recovery.
To put it in perspective: Unemployment figures only count those who are on the government dole for unemployment insurance. Once they go off the dole, they are not counted as unemployed; mathematically speaking, they are treated by the media as if they were living the life of Riley with a great job. But if Romney were president, the media would go to great lengths to portray anyone who didn't have at least a full-time job in the career of their choice as "underemployed", and that's why I'm saying the media would be reporting the 15- 20% rate above, along with the low growth rate.
