Folks, we are in stagflation like the 1970s.
It's worse than that--the policies which have been enacted: the tax increases, expansive government, and demonization of those who would stimulate long-term economic growth, are going to create a near-Depression level of economy.

As time moves on some things beg the question:
1) We know what economic actions produces what general results, we have much history since WWIII
2) We know the ONLY form economics that has been successful is capitalism and in fact it is embedded in every man, woman and child across the world, we know its results and we know how to insure it functions properly.
3) The questions becomes why are we in the mess we are in and why are we not fixing it?
4) To that I answer: a) the government, b) they do not want it fixed, we have what the govt wants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was designed on purpose....
If you cannot destroy a country thru war then do so thru economics....

It's like we're all in an airliner heading for a crash landing. We know it's coming. Some of the flight attendants know it's coming. But the pilot is pushing the controls forward and firewalling the engine, and most of the passengers are enjoying the feeling of weightlessness. Hope for the wings to create lift or for the copilot or engineer to take the controls from the pilot, but brace yourself and prepare for impact cuz it's coming.
The survivors get to write the story, after all.
