Yup. That time again. You know the deal...try not to repeat anyone else's picks this year, m'kay? FAMOUS people, can be political, sports, celebs, etc.
Pick five. One pick MUST be under the age of 40. So I'll take an easy one or two, but leave some others for the rest of ya'll. Nobody under a death sentence in any prison, unless they die by means other than execution.
Winner (so to speak) gets one Internets. Must be present to take possession.
My picks:
Nelson Mandela
Hugo Chavez
Sir Roger Moore
Fred Phelps (of WBC notoriety)
And Under 40 pick--gotta go with the obvious--Lindsay Lohan.
-
And Under 40 pick--gotta go with the obvious--Lindsay Lohan.
She was a popular pick last year.
I'll have to go through last year's thread and see who the winners are. Maybe throw a litlte party for them.
-
Fidel Castro
Leonard Nimoy and
William Shatner (within a week of each other)
Dick Cheney

I'm not hoping for him to die, just think it is possible because of his age.
-
I think William Shatner and Charlie Sheen, for two that I hadn't seen on the list so far.
Under 40? I'll have to get back to you on that, plus the other three . . . naah, I'll add one to the list above. Ruth Bader Ginsberg, from some cancer (she's had cancer surgeries, and she's probably going to develop it again soon).
-
Mickey Rooney - natural causes
Michael Douglas - throat cancer
Eli Wallach - natural causes
Kirk Douglas - natural causes
Under 40 - Jodie Sweetin (I have no clue who this critter is, but if the pic is real, I see tombstones in her eyes. A meth addict.)
-
Yeah, I had to nadin the name. Holy crap. Child stars are pretty much doomed from the start.
-
Going to make several entries over time but my first is:
Demi Moore
-
With the way Hillary keeps popping out problems, I am going to put her in there.
-
Lady Thatcher
Christopher Lee
Robert Schuller
-
The surviving major cast of Young Frankenstein:
Mel Brooks, 86 (director)
Cloris Leachman, 86 (Blucher!) (neighh!)
Gene Hackman, 82
Gene Wilder, 79 (FRONK-en-steen.)
Teri Garr, 68 (maybe not, but no roll in the hay either, thanks)
-
Terri Garr used to be hot. What happened?
Some British rag ran a story on Margaret Thatcher last week and couldn't be bothered to use actual pictures of the lady, instead using screen captures of Meryl Streep from her movie. :whatever:
-
Sheesh! Sucks to be late to this party. Ok, no repeats, here goes:
Kirk Douglas
Jesse Jackson
Bob Barker
Courtney Love
Mikhail Gorbechev
Under 40?
Miley Cyrus
-
Terri Garr used to be hot. What happened?

:lmao:
-
With the way Hillary keeps popping out problems, I am going to put her in there.
Does it count if the same "demons" that pushed Vince Foster into a late night visit to Ft. Marcy Park will be the same ones expediting Hillary's "untimely demise at the peak of her political influence"?

The stumpy arm makes the rest of her look huge. I thought she had gained a ton of weight.
-
68.
Dude, she wasn't even all that hot at 38. I think the 70's happened to her, that's what.
-
That's what I thought! :lmao:
The stumpy arm makes the rest of her look huge. I thought she had gained a ton of weight.
Actually, I think it's more the second chin, the puffy eyes, and all that boozy trailer trash expression that make her look fat. And here I thought coke and meth were supposed to keep those starlets skinny.
-
No one has mentioned Bonnie Franklin. Apparently she has pancreatic cancer.
Edit: add Prince Philip
Edit: add Mikhail Kalashnikov, inventor of the AK-47
Edit: add one of the members of Green Day
Edit: add Alexis Arquette

She apparently suffered a brain aneurysm in 2006, as well, and had to learn how to walk and talk again.
Gutsy lady. And definitely hawt in her day.

I have to think on the under 40 selection but here are the other 5:
Olivia De Havilland
Richard Attenborough
Henry Kissinger
Peter O'Toole
Fats Domino

Last I heard of her, there was a Yahoo article out about her problems sometime early last year. Haven't seen a pic of her since, but if it's meth, I don't want to.
Charles Manson is one I'll put down if it hasn't already been put down. I haven't read through the 4 pages. Tired right now.

From what I have read it is meth. Last time I saw a picture she didn't look too methy. A lot can happen in a short time though. Daniel Radcliff was about my 15th choice but all of the good ones were already taken.

Unfortunately there may be a death in the Royal family due to age or accident. Remember our shock when Dina died, this may be worse.

I am a big fan of Doris Day. Thankfully, her work will live on after the day Doris is gone.
Doris Day was one of the most talented people made famous in the 20th century. She could sing, dance, do comedy, be a dramatic actress, and always be beautiful while doing 'em.
BUT....this is about the eighth time the tabloids have announced her impending death. I know Doris will be 89 in April, but that doesn't mean she's a goner.

Actress Bonnie Franklin, known to TV fans as divorced mom Ann Romano on the '70s sitcom "One Day at a Time," has died at age 69. Her family says her death was due to complications from pancreatic cancer, which Franklin revealed she was battling back in September.m

On Saturday past, Adolph "Bud" Herseth, principal trumpet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, died at his home in Oak Park, IL. He was 91.
Bud Herseth was the principal trumpet of one of the world's premier orchestras from 1948 until he stepped down in 2001, some 53 years. This was unprecedented.
Bud sat alongside some of the finest brass players in the world. Arnold Jacobs (tuba); Dale Clevenger (horn); Jay Friedman (trombone); Gail Williams (horn); Charlie Vernon (bass trombone); Gene Pokorny (tuba).

Published: April 30, 2013
Deanna Durbin, who as a plucky child movie star with a sweet soprano voice charmed American audiences during the Depression and saved Universal Pictures from bankruptcy before she vanished from public view 64 years ago, has died, a fan club announced on Tuesday. She was 91.
In a newsletter, the Deanna Durbin Society said Ms. Durbin died “a few days ago,†quoting her son, Peter H. David, who thanked her admirers for respecting her privacy. No other details were given.
Ms. Durbin had remained determinedly out of public view since 1949, when she retired to a village in France with her third husband.
Another one gone... (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/01/movies/deanna-durbin-1930s-star-of-universal-pictures-dies-at-91.html?_r=1&)

Why Jane Fonda? It's not like she's drooling into her prune juice before launching into yet another demented diatribe about how her sojourn to North Vietnam really wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be.

Just another Hollyweird moonbat. Fox News says she tried to build a fire in a driveway, so the cops put her on a psych watch. Same kinda drug-addled shit that Britney Whats-her-face did a few years ago.
WTF am I doing? :thatsright: I truly do not give a rat's ass for these shitbirds.....

I think these people are psychologically damaged by the Hollywood environment. Corey Feldman was talking about how he was surrounded by pedophiles his whole career a few years ago, just before Corey Haim died, Feldman tried to get Haim to go public.

Well, there's no doubt she'll die. I just happen to think that karma takes its time about blessing those who need to be "blessed" and her number won't be up for awhile yet.
She might even wind up pissing in that Golden Pond before she croaks.

I used to enjoy watching him box.
He had a tendency to get pummeled here and there, like the ray mercer fight, but man did he have a haymaker of a left hook. Watching people crumble when he landed that thing was amazing.
