The war on Christmas is OVER
On Costco, on Target, on WalMart, on Best Buy, count your money and cry out victory. While you sleep in your beds and dream of happy investors, the banks will be bandaging the consumers with excessive credit card rates and late charges.
Yes the war is over, and the customers have lost once again.
We'll never learn.
So don't pay them late.
And like every other thread, a fight breaks out.

1. If consumers are being hit with late fees and credit card rates then it's their own damn fault.
What is it about Christmas that makes people lose their damn minds. If you can't afford to pay cash for it - don't buy it.
My wife and I didn't do anything for Christmas this year. We have more important things to save for. The kid is too young to know the difference.

3. Caveat emptor
Live your life by it. In everything.
If you don't then you've earned your own misery.

5. Well, call me empathetic then, sorry your empathy switch is turned off

7. So people are so waek minded that they can't make their own way?
Really?
People need to be strong enough to make their own decisions and form their own opinions.
If they aren't then they deserve all the misery they get.
Maybe that makes me lacking in empathy, but I am getting tired of people complaining about their lot in life when they make a lot of the choices that lead to their own misery.
Oh, that's not going to go over too well.

11. Being financially responsible
And not spending yourself into debt because corporate America shows you a pretty picture is now a "right wing theme??"
Being against the consumerism that helped lead to the financial collapse is now a "right wing theme?"
Advocating that people spend cash and not get themselves into usury with banks is a "right wing theme?"
Sorry, no. Those are the most progressive themes I know of.

So, now it's not kosher, it's not permissible, to be financially responsible. That's repuke talk.
No wonder they're all so destitute.
And Dainbramaged, just because you feel "empathy" doesn't mean your fellow man gets his bills paid from that. It's useless, worthless.

Yes DUmmies, run out and spend all you can!!! It's FREE to you. It has to be made FREE to you because you have no sense of responsibility or morals or ethics.
There should never be repercussions for someone buying stuff they can't ever pay for. It should all be FREE!!!
You shouldn't have to be trusted to read the print on the contract to the credit card that states what the interest rate will be, what the default rate will be and what the late payment will be. This simply illustrates to the world what juveniles you are and always will be.

Jeez, DUmmies, just spend within your means. No one is forcing you to celebrate Christmas or spend money. Don't blame the banks if you max out credit cards, that is all on you.
-
Spend what you don't have.
Take what you did not earn.
Blame others.
Rely on someone else to govern in your favor.
I repeat:
These people do not deserve freedom. They did not earn it; they cannot keep it; they resent the burden of it and they will take yours out of spite.

I'm really quite confused here. We have the universe's mostest smartest man in history running economic policies for four years now. All should be happy with the results brought forth from these policies.
Sad thing is, one, two, three, or even four years from now the DUches will look back on the fourth Christmas of their lord and savior as the VERY good times. If the poor DUche could only buy three cards this year it will have to DUmpster dive to get paper and pen to scratch his deluded cards it makes in 2016.
On the positive side for the DUmbasses, this was the worst Christmas retail season since 0bama began forcing his economic theory on us.

Do what the government can't.
Set a budget and stick to it.

The mess that Bush left behind and GOP obstructionism has led to Citizens United creating a dominionist theocracy that favors the 1% while Karl Rove and Crossroads for America assassinate good progressives with character drones strikes.
Or something like that. I dunno anymore.

I can and do have empathy for someone who has lost his or her job and is having trouble paying the bills. I have zero empathy for those who willingly put themselves in debt and then whine about the bills and late fees when they can't meet their obligations. I remember a few years back at the wailing and gnashing of teeth going on at DU concerning the restructuring of the bankruptcy laws. They were up set that they could no longer run up their charge cards and then get a judge to to wipe the slate clean for them.

Not being stupid doesn't make you perfect. It just makes you not stupid.
Oh crap, I'm becoming Dave Ramsey.:-)

The major difference between good, decent people and primitives: impulse control. You and I may spend impulsively for Christmas (no one is perfect), but we don't wallow in it as they do.
I celebrated a zero-debt-incurred Christmas. Finding small, thoughtful, personal gifts was a happiness for me, and I think a happiness for those who received them. My big gift for my son, my M4, was a gift with history and meaning- a gift that may save his life someday.

Dain. Empathy and a cup of coffee will get you nowhere. If your such a ****stick that you can't pay your bills and do whats right then please have yourself committed before you snap like that kid in CT and harm a lot of innocent people.

Yeah it takes "exquisite money managing skills" to spend less than what you make. :whatever:
No wonder the DUmb***es will never amount to anything worthwhile.
