Title: Can someone clue me in please

Hi,

Since the election, I have been pretty much bummed out.  Fiscal cliff is BS, libs will let the deadline come and pass and blame it on the republicans with the complicit media.  I knew that weeks ago.

Here is my question.  I have not followed this stuff in detail, it is all BS anyway and whatever they come up with will not solve a damn thing.  Did the inability of Boehner to get his stuff through the house result from conservatives digging their heels in?  I hope so.

I did note not one democrat voted for the first proposal and BO and Reid said it was DOA anyway.  I am hoping the conservatives stick to their guns.

Anyone got some insights to bring me up to speed?  Would be much appreciated.

I think it failed to pass because they did dig in their heels.  Honestly I think the consequences of the GOP Reps being blamed for it in the MSM are vastly overrated by the MSM and the pundits, it is two full years until the next time any of them have to run again, and look how little anything that happened two years ago stuck to Obama or any other office holder.
