Can I make corn bread in a glass dish or should or will it really work better if I use a metal dish?

1. I've made it in glass and it's fine - darker crust in metal.

2. In my experience, Glass or Pyrex is better.

Thicker denser material distributes heat more evenly.

It's just like, well, it's awesome!

3. I was really wondering if I should hunt thru my basement for my cast iron frying pan

4. Now cast iron is a whole nuther banana!

Some would say it's an even cooker and imparts a family flavor.

I'm a pyrex guy, I like seeing what I'm burning!

10. I don't use anything else for making corn bread

I preheat my cast iron skillet in the oven while it is preheating. After everything preheats, I take the skillet out and drop a spoonful of lard into it. Once the lard melts, the batter goes in.

9. Glass works just fine, the crust gets nice and brown

but I always made mine in a cast iron skillet, as much for presentation as for quality.

RGIII could probably give them a hint or two. But I thought those liberal racists were supposed to know all about "cornbread".............(http://www.conservativecave.com/Smileys/default/fuelfire.gif)

Yeah, the cornbread brother.

Of course I knew Rob Parker was a sleazy character (you have to be pretty bad to get fired by the Detroit News), but I didn't get this one.

He's slandering Griffin for having a white girlfriend?

Is there any black guy in the NFL who doesn't have a white girlfriend?

When they get big money, it's the first thing they buy.

The primitives who says a cast iron skillet are correct. If you are going to make southern cornbread (aka real cornbread) you really need a cast iron skillet.

I doubt that's the case with RGIII. I think they've been dating for quite some time and she doesn't exactly have that Vegas call girl look to her. More like the girl next door. He went to school in Copperas Cove, a military community to the south of Ft. Hood. His parents are both retired Army NCOs.

What in the world is that doing in your basement?

Warpy:  "For presentation."  Who's she kidding, she doesn't have anyone over for dinner.  There is no presentation.

It was also because he (RGIII) stated he wanted to be judged as a person and a man/quarterback, Not by the color of his skin.  That's goes against their whole scream of "I'm a victim".  Also it's rumored he's a scary Republican.

It's a dog with homemade "hearing aids". It seems to fit.
