Pacific time here, and since I had not had a meal yet today, I had dinner early...
Petite Cut Top Sirloin steaks....marinated about an hour in a bourbon peppercorn marinade...along with some other things I rubbed in....(Garlic & Herb Mrs. Dash, Salt & Pepper)
I like these $19.95 grills from Wal Mart...if I trash it, I just buy a new one....they work well and cook just at the right heat....very limited flare ups as well...

Had this with a fresh Romaine blend salad...
So whatcha havin'?

Living alone (Praise God) I eat my share of frozen dinners as well...
Did I mention the steaks were on sale? Had to buy the larger package....of 5....then they were only $2.99/lb....there were four on the grill and another nice sized one still in the fridge...........only $8.53 for all of them (Not only can I cook, I can also be thrifty)
I even washed clothes at the same time....quite the male multi-tasker today!  :cheersmate:

What keeps them from slipping off the grill and falling?

Is that the gas or charcoal grill?

Gas.
I have used it five or six times, still on the first little bottle of gas. (2 bottles for $5..sure beats heating up the house and having it smell like meat for two days)
What keeps them from slipping off the grill and falling?
I do!  :rotf:

We are leaving town for a few days so I am trying to use up some stuff on hand.....
I made patties out of ground sirlion (I mix it first much like meat loaf) and cooked them on the griddle.  I made a topping for the patties out of some leftover canned diced tomatoes, a squirt of ketchup, a dash or two of Louisiana hot sauce, and a splash of red wine vinegar.
I fried some okra (yum), and warmed up some corn niblets with butter.
It was very good.  My wife came back for seconds and she never does that.

I have a slab of meat in the refrigerator.  I was thinking of making curried beef, but I need to pick up some ingredients.
Looks like all I have time for tonight is a frozen dinner.
