Worst School Massacre in US History Did Not Involve Guns
December 16, 2012 By Daniel Greenfield

No assault rifles to ban. Just dynamite and pyrotol.

An alarm clock detonates a 500 Lb dynamite and pyrotol bomb that Kehoe had hidden in the north end of the school basement.

...

the air seemed to be full of children and flying desks and books...

...

There was a pile of children of about five or six under the roof and some of them had arms sticking out, some had legs, and some just their heads sticking out. They were unrecognizable because they were covered with dust, plaster, and blood. There were not enough of us to move the roof

The full total was 45 dead.  The date was 1927. As Milton Wolf points out, “The mainstream media loves the term “school shootings” because it fits into their narrative that law-abiding citizens should be disarmed. By limiting their discussion to shootings, they ignore the worst school massacre in U.S. history which wasn’t a shooting at all.”

To be fair, I found the link on a Facebook post.  This should be spread far and wide.

Mark Levin was talking about this on Friday.  I heard about it after Columbine.  I don't know if it matters any more.

Guns are probably easier to get than dynamite these days, but who knows.

Saving for an FB update.

(I let my updates stand at the top of my page a minimum of 12 hours, if I can.  My current one just went up, and I want it seen.)

The guy in Oklahoma City used fertilizer.  The Columbine students had pipe bombs.  We currently lose troops to IED attacks. We must repeat over and over that banning guns will do absolutely nothing to make anyone safer!

Meth lab explosions are so common too. Meth is made out of every day household items. You could easily weaponize it as well.

Great find, MrsSmith - H5.

I understand your sentiment but perhaps an "inartful" choice of words, my friend.

Ammonium nitrate, at least certain grades of it, is used as a farm fertilizer. It is an oxydizer, meaning the material becomes very unstable when contaminated with carbon-based materials....

...like diesel fuel.

Ka-BOOM!

And yet, Homeland Security doesn't appear to be all that hot-to-trot about AN.  :whatever:
