. . .assuming you're not on ignore (and her ignore list is vast):

NRA talking points
Any DU'er spouting them, I will call you on it, assuming you are not on ignore. Time to point and laugh at the NRA repeating TP parrots. You need to be as socially not acceptable as drunk drivers.
I don't have kids, but I have seen, in the flesh, what these guns do, to adults and children.
Will enacting legislation "cost us politically?" I am not sure of that any longer. I think the country is finally getting it. Oh and non gun owners outnumber gun owners.
Closing the gun show loophole is not a far bridge, not lonnie. Increasing back ground checks is not crazy... Even perhaps taking some classes of weapons is not unachievable.
Increasing mental services is not crazy.
Changing how we collectively see this as a culture is already happening.
In some ways, it is over. Will it change today? No, but in time it will. 12
"lonnie"? :???:

10. You'll just call any argument you don't like or can't refute an NRA talking point. That's not a way
to start a conversation.

20. You were in the other discussion
I'm just warning you...spout them, I will call you on them.
And yes, I am a gun owner, and the NRA and 2a absolutists are out of control...
We've had it.
This insanity needs to stop...where else do I have to thnk of cover? So far the list...
Temples.
Schools,
Malls
Hospitals.
These are the recent ones.
I hate it, but I need to look for cover every where I go...when responding to shoot outs it makes sense, sort of goes with the job, but shopping? This is where people are coming now.
So should malls start installing proper cover?
So yes, I will call idiots on this. It's never been a conversation. Well guess what, the majority, including NRA members, has had it with the absolutists, including the leadership of the NRA.
You don't spout them, you won't get called on them. You do, consider this fair warning.

Thats what high capacity clips are for...Heh.
Just remember kiddos. Al Gore lost his home state in 2000. The loss was over his anti gun stance. Had he been able to win his home state, he would have won the election.

Oh my God.
The oblate spheroid owns a gun?
I thought California had some of the toughest gun laws in the nation.
Isn't she dangerous enough with a computer keyboard and the google seach engine?

It is possible, even probable, that the retired submarine Master Chief owns a gun, and the oblate spheroid considers it "hers". Given the retired submarine Master Chief's choice in mates, I question his judgment and suitability to own a firearm.

Nads, the bolded could actually be true but is completely irrelevant. I do not own a gun and still support gun ownership. There are many like me. What you need, and I'm suprised that a trained historian who knows and has done everything doesn't know this, is non-supporters of the US Constitution to outnumber supporters of the US Constitution.

She has guns?? God help us all!!!

Uh huh.
The oblate spheroid's mighty volatile, unstable, like the Taverner primitive.
I'd worry if the cops allowed her anywhere near a gun and a crowd.
-
Oh my God.
The oblate spheroid owns a gun?
She's got a .32 gun in her pocket for fun, she's got a razor in her shoe.

You need to be as socially not acceptable as drunk drivers.
And yet I haven't seen you or any primitive call for laws forcing auto manufacturers to install safeguards which would prevent drivers who have been drinking from being able to start the engine. Selective outrage is such the fashion.
.
-
It would be helpful if she phrased her demand in something resembling English.
-

She bad, bad, Nadine now! Baddest bitch in the whole damn town! Sucks on Skinner's schlong, and smells like a junkyard dog!
:-)

Someone needs to go up behind her with a starter pistol. Just sayin'.

Who's Lonnie?
-
Who's Lonnie?
Believe it or not, I think it's her attempt at spelling "loony".
She has no idea how ironic that is.
-
Hey gNads...I STILL support the NRA...got my membership card just the other day as part of a deal for being in the military.
Wanna come over and discuss?
1,600 federal laws pertaining to guns in this country...do you really think one more would stop what happened Friday?
C'mon lets have a chat on this.
ETA: Lurkers you do realize that had that school not been a gun free zone this tragedy probably would have ended at the front door of the school?
-
Since Nads live in California where they hate legal ownership of firearms, -is there some sort of public registry naming gun owners that can be accessed ?
-
assuming you are not on ignore
MORON LABE
Which is Greek for: see if you can take this much stoopud.

Unbelievable stupidity.
Several of the primitives made the mistake of stating something that could be construed as disagreeing.
Standard response from the great gNads, seems to be...

If only someone would cut the power to her house or the service to her ISP the world would be much better for it.

She doesn't have a house.
She lives in a crappy little condo, hard up against a roaring San Diego freeway.
She's often complained about it, but when you're a crazy bald dwarf, trolling through the boys on shore leave, I guess you take what you can get.
-
Temples.
Schools,
Malls
Hospitals.
I would add domestic military installations to that list. Funny how they forget about the "Workplace Violence'" that the muxlim created at Fort Hood.
And all of those places have one thing in common.

Oh he still has his hunting riffle. (An old Garand).
Aside from weighing a ton, a Garand is a fine old riffle if you can find one in good shape.
You need to replace the stock, which was designed for clubbing enemies after you ran out of ammunition.
But a nice riffle. Riffles have ridges.
Nutcase nadin is a lonnie tune.

And am I the only one that thinks that she thinks people at DU have so much respect for her that they're thinking, "damn, I was going to say something, but Nadin will attack me"? Talk about a bad case of narcissistic personality disorder.

58. I will give you odds its membership grows...a lot. I've been talking to people around here for 2
days and they're preparing to dig in with vigor against the hysteria that seems to be fueling demands to ban guns. I know for sure gun sales are way up at the local shops. Don't assault the messenger here for reporting facts, please.
Better believe it.
