Sixteen Democratic senators who voted for the Affordable Care Act are asking that one of its fundraising mechanisms, a 2.3 percent tax on medical devices scheduled to take effect January 1, be delayed. Echoing arguments made by Republicans against Obamacare, the Democratic senators say the levy will cost jobs — in a statement Monday, Sen. Al Franken called it a “job-killing tax†— and also impair American competitiveness in the medical device field.

Nancy 'Botox' Pelosi said it has to pass to see what is in it. Now that it passed they are seeing, and they don't like it. Maybe if they would have actually read the damn thing before passing it, they would have realized this before hand? Then maybe not, they were too busy polishing obama's ass with their man juice to pay attention to it..

Stubbornness. There is such a long list of everything that's wrong with this POS legislation, but the dems will not admit it. My own dem rep, when faced with one of my letters complaining about some stupid bill or something, always says "it will create jobs." STFU. And now we have all those states who (rightly) won't set up exchanges. The feds can't offer a subsidy, so everyone's up Shit Crick. Premiums going up 50%, nobody can afford any of this. People getting put on part time. The whole thing needs be scrapped, but then they'd have to admit they were wrong.

B.O. (aka Stinky) will just give exemption to medical mfg and distributors in the northeast.
You have to be a special kind of scumb bag to tax devices that will provide for the well being for all Americans. This tax will be imposed on high equipment machines used in hospitals down to the old lady that that needs a walking cane or wheelchair. The cost will be passed on to the taxpayer.
