LANSING, Michigan: Eight Capitol Protesters Charged With Felonies
Source: The State Journal
LANSING, Mich. (The State Journal) - Eight people arrested Thursday during protests at the state Capitol, who officials said tried to push through state police troopers to enter the Senate chamber, have been charged with felonies.
Each of the six men and two women - all from southeastern Michigan - face a charge of resisting, obstructing and/or opposing a police officer. They face up to two years in prison.
Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III said he issued the charges today.
In a statement, Dunnings said: "It was attested to me that (the protesters') tactics went beyond passive resistance, and involved physical aggression towards the police who were charged with protecting the public safety during this tumultuous debate."

cops are not paid to think, they just obey whomever happens to be their masters at the time. All governments have goons with guns. In some other countries, firebombs and other misslies are thrown at the goons. Don't doubt that the machine guns and tanks would come out if those methods of showing outrage were used here. It's happened before. Check out veterans bonuses from after WW2. I'm not calling for it--just to be clear.
What the **** is he talking about?

6. I know the mentality of 'some' of the LEO's and it would 'make their day' to be able to break out

their 'big toys and guns', indeed.
Not all mind you...but way to many leo's think that way.
Watching the interviews and attitudes of the Michigan State Police from last Thursday, they are just itching for it, big time.
I hope to see it live as "The Revolution will not be televised."

This is not a coincidence.
Nope. Union members getting to bust heads of union members and can't get fired because they're protected by a union. It doesn't get any better than that.

They really need the beret. Gotta look tough for the cameras tomorrow.

After seeing the destructive results of taking a half-assed, Mr. Nice Guy approach with these goons in Madison, I expect a lot of the Michigan LEOs aren't in a real 'International brotherhood of labor' mood about the whole thing.

Snyder gave them an exemption from the legislation.
I wonder if the police have updated permits.

Let em act like like the goons they are. Their antics will not drum up the support they seek, quite the opposite actually. The WI protests and recall show that decent people reject senseless hooliganism. The cops need to be firm yet disciplined as the socialists are not peaceful and are there to disrupt, while also looking for footage to rile their base. Advice to cops after witnessing the debacle in Madison- be firm, be many, and back up the pepper spray truck just in case.

Ya, that up holding the law thing, it's a real bitch.
Hows your sister? Out taking pictures?

Another data point of proof demonstrating that all political violence in modern history has started with the left.

Hell yeah. That hand-to-hand shit is for when there aren't any more bullets and you're cornered.

Fox News had a live shot from the capitol in MI this morning. The union thugs told to usual lies about how they won't be able to get better benefits and how unfair it is fir non union employees to get the same benefits as the union goons. They also had a shot of the union members in the capitol building shouting as loud as they could their favorite slogans against the right to work law.

Great pic from today's protest.

Before it gets to that, you'd better have empty shotguns, with all buckshot 'downrange.'

Sweet little union thugs:

BTW, Rush made an awesome analogy today, Bob Beckel and the unions complain that those who don't belong to the unions reap the benefits of union negotiating, Rush then said the same can apply to the 47% who don't pay taxes, they reap the benefits of what the rest of us pay.

That thread just got sent to the Lansing P.D.
