Anyone know what is going on with Current TV?
What happened to their evening news shows?
They seem to be on earlier but they are not in their usual time slots.
All they are showing is reruns of Vanguard (good, but I've seen them all) and Miami Dade Vice or some such crap.
Anyone have the skinny?
I guess with a nationwide viewership of 7 DUmmies, sponsors were kinda hard to come by.
Maybe they should have tried to sign up some of the sponsors that dropped Rush, because of their boycott.

1. I'm hoping it's just holiday scheduling,

but yeah, it's looking not so good.
C'mon Cletia. I voted for you as a top ten DUmmy of the year last year. You really disappointed me this year. Stop fooling around and really apply yourself next year.

3. I had such great hopes for Current when they hired Keith Olbermann

However, I read the details of the lawsuit Olbermann filed Current. Of course it still has to be determined who did what in a court of law, I was very disappointed that Al Gore did not intervened earlier, when Keith and Joel Hyatt were battling out their differences.
I remember that he (Hyatt) was the owner of a law firm that got sued for firing a man with AIDS. I was surprised that Al Gore would go into business with him and according to what I read about the case. he was mostly responsible for the problem that occurred when he took over running the show.
Keef has been a failure and total disaster everywhere he's been. Kinda like DUmmies in general.

5. I was hugely disappointed with the situation with Keith.

But Current's lineup was solid so I kept watching.
I had some hope that Keith would come back.
Alas, I have little hope of that.
If Current keeps their new schedule I'll have to start watching MSNBC again.

The potential buyers would end up losing their money the same way the old owners did. There is no money to be made banking on liberal media. Hell. Even the print media is going under.

7. The ship is sinking because the captain is an idiot and refused to leverage the future. n/t
In order to hold the attention of the target audience, he had to DUmb down the programing.

What happened?.....did they run out of orphans to rob?

Algore is worth more than $100 million but he'll let the company fold and strand all those workers so long as he has his.
Algore is an economic traitor.

I love the free market. Looks like the Invisible Hand is bitch-slapping Current TV.

What's this? Liberal hypocrisy? Never!!!
See also: Costco superhuge tax-avoidance dividends. Mmmmm money. Lotsa lotsa money. None for you, though, DUmmies.

That ETrade commercial with the shocked baby face instantly came to mind.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?
I'm surprised Current has made it as long as it has. The only better thing I can think of than Current folding soon is Goron pouring all his money into the station only for it to fail a year down the line. Nothing would be more fitting for Al Gore than to be penniless, and on the street sucking dick for dimes.

Only if they keep the current format. A smart investor would buy the network just because it is on the channel line-up of most providers already. To make money they just need to put something on that does two things: Gets ratings and generates ad revenue.

The fine progressives running the outfit should have been willing to do so for much less than they did. It was their insistence in having their 1% salaries that accelerated the process of eating up the little capital the station did have rather than unselfishly ploughing the money back into the business for the good of all mankind.

Like all DUmmies, they refused to work for what they were really worth.

The kiss of death for any start-up media enterprise, right there.

Yes, DUmbass goon, Algore thinks EXACTLY as you do about each and every aspect of life. Except when he looks in his wallet. Al's wallet is stuff with EVIL riches and yours ain't.

Videos and clips of electric chair executions of criminals.....now that would be "CURRENT" TV.
-
Oh Myyyy. It looks like the liberals will now have only CNNABCNBCCBS to watch now

How many millions were given to Current in the stimulus? I'll go with between 8 and 12.
