Nutcase nadin would like to remind you that in addition to being a DOTY candidate, she is a trained historian (like franksolich):

There is a war in Afghanistan
But unlike nam, we really have no music, cause quite frankly go shopping
Here, from Woodstock. Some of you might miss the references, but still...makes the point

I guess she's trying to equate the Woodstock drugfest with the Viet Nam War, but that's just a guess.

4. Great video by the way
To a point something died there...and the chattering classes have made sure it stays dead.
As to sanitizing, not just war...any kind of violence.
Once again, I have no idea what the crazy bald dwarf is trying to say.
It's worse than trying to translate a vestanumbers comment.

From looking at the original campfire, and the time of posting, the oblate spheroid's drunk.
She must drink like a fish; one wonders what her alcohol of choice is.

I figure it's something with an animal in the name.
Wild Turkey, Thunderbird, Mad Dog, etc. :lmao:
-
Wild Turkey is way out of her league. So is Famous Grouse.
MD20/20, Thunderbird, yes. Others, no.
-
I think she's been smoking her old pantyhose and listening to Barry McGuire again.
-
:stoner: :stoner: :stoner:, put down the bong Nads. You are hallucinating again!

I picture her licking toads

:rotf:
Grey Goose is cheap stuff.
-
Generic vodka and tequila. Though she probably puts on high-class airs with something expensive and horrid-tasting from time to time (Like Tanqueray, though between its German and wild yuppie male associations, I don't see it being the equally-horrid-tasting Jägermeister).
-
Probably some cheap-ass Russian potato vodka . . . :puke:

So let Vesta try to translate Nads posts. Got to get my tin hat on for this, not an easy task.
I believe she is trying to communicate that all wars --or most of them---have had music at that the time of the war and when we hear it it reminds us of the time of the war. Dixie, Johnny comes marching home, Up to Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey. Big Band time. Most of the 1960's had the music we still listen to on the oldies stations, reminds us old poops of the Nam years.
I THINK and I am usually wrong, that her complaint is there is no music today that in 20-150 years from now to remind us of these years of war time.
May be, perhaps, all I can think of, and perhaps she has a valid point. Where is the music that defines each generation separate and apart from those in the past ????
Ah I tried my best to unencrypted Nads post, any one got a better idea ???????

Nope.
For some reason, I suspect you understand the oblate spheroid better than we do, vesta.

Well seeing how the protest against the war died out as soon as they started then there wasn't enough time for musicians to write songs for Gnads to groove to. As to what she is drinking it probably came in a yellow bottle labeled "Prestone" and she thought it was a quick way to get alcohol.

A song for nads

Nads' drink of choice- Pruno, made with Bac-Os and lighter fluid.

You never see Vesta and Nads in the same room together....jus' sayin'.

I always found Clash's 'Rock the Casbah' and Zevon's 'Send the Envoy' to be a great music for the recent wars, myself. 'Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner' is also great music for any Third-World shithole war too...of course I think Nads means protest music, instead of cool music to listen to while hastening bad little hadjis off to Al'lah or fur-faced Commies off to whatever they think comes next.
-
This is the perfect theme song about a DUmmie who just got a real job. It's by Spanky & Our Gang in 1967.

Hissyspit makes a thread about donating supplies to "occupy Sandy" ::) and asks for other donations, and then nads says:

Add, and I have yet to do it, any long term, like habitat for humanity, to your list.

She's a Mexican so my racist white male guess is mezcal or tequila.

:lmao: I'm gonna use that a lot now that I've seen it.
