This is really scary.
In Kansas, businesses will now pay no state taxes. Employees of a business will pay taxes but the owners won't. MO is responding by cutting business taxes in half.

Where do these states think they will get the revenue they need to pay for schools, public safety, roads, state services? Can individual tax returns cover these expenses? Or will this be the excuse they need to stop funding services?

I never thought I'd see anything this insane come out of a state legislature. We may have won the presidency but we're losing the battle at the state level here.

then this one forgets all about IL, NY, CA and other broke blue high tax states:

3. They really think businesses will flock there

Unfortunately, if businesses are going to flock anywhere for low taxes and low wages, it's still overseas.

I guess Republicans have to fail more in red states than they do in the rest of the country for anyone to get the point.

The scrunt thinks that business will flock to states with a higher tax rate?
I'd ask if she was stupid, but, I already know the answer.
That cupid stunt must look at economics through a straw.

If I knew where to send it, I'd send her some bacon scented shaving cream for Christmas to make her feel better and make her more tolerable.

They will stop in Nevada first... even though I'd love to send them to KA and MO.  I don't want people who vote higher taxes on themselves coming to our state.

Stupid idiot, California businesses are or have left and moved to Texas. Same thing will happen now for Kansas.

She doesn't know where her state gets their Revenue?  Maybe she should look at her property tax bill, her sales register receipts, her gasoline prices, her utility bills, etc.

Not only is this twit a "teacher", she is a DOTY Emeritus, having won an undeserved title in 2010.

If she's a teacher, we're screwed.   :runaway:

Tonight, Mark Levin was replaying an interview he had with a woman who has a PHD. She's from some college and they were discussing the beauty of the government confiscating our 401ks.

He made her sound like a fool and she was clueless to it....

More like the downstate IL refugees, really.  Hopefully it'll be too far away and too 'Backward' here for the retards in the Chicago area who made it what it is.

Her dogs will probably like it, depending on where she shaves.

Yeah, I remember how big the news was when our local billionaire businessman left the state (NY.)  You would think the state would start getting the idea after a while, but oh no, let's just raise tolls on the thruway again.

Not to mention the state of KS has "school enrollment fees" that are charged every year. In the Blue Valley district, it costs $100 per school-aged child (grades K-12, and this is per student, not per family). This is referred to as a "Learning Resource Fee" and must be paid each year, for each child. It is not a one shot deal. In addition to this, there is a $15 per student "technology supply fee". And in addition to these, there is also an "activity fee" all must pay, ($50-$80 for middle school, $120 for high school). This is in addition to fees  charged for school sports programs such as drill team, cheerleading, certain clubs and school sports (football team, baseball team, basketball, etc).

Everyone pays these fees, for each kid, every year. (except of course those on welfare/state assistance, the free-lunch folks).

NH has no state OR income tax.  We still manage.  Incredible, ain't it?

Not really Sparky, as a right to work state more and more businesses are moving here and a big hunk of them are foreign Companys.  Towns will waver a large amount of property taxes to get a business in here and the larger the company the more tax breaks they get.

Many Mass. companys are comming our way, non Union and thriving up here.   Some of our companys buy in to states that have unions but they insist on the the right to hire and the right to fire.   Drives the unions crazy when the company is Foreign, whole different game board.

Example the Government Ship yard across the river in Maine.    They have a Union for what it it is worth, they has a no strike clause in the contract, so why bother with a Union that is there just to protect the people that are Fu*king up on the job ????

A good reason our State motto is  "Live Free or Die.
