LOS ANGELES, June 1 (UPI) -- TV producer Robert H. Justman, who worked on two key "Star Trek" TV series, has died in Los Angeles at the age of 81, his son says.
Jonathan Justman said his father, who worked on both the original "Star Trek" TV series and on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," died of complications from Parkinson's disease, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.
Jonathan Justman also noted his father's death last Wednesday came within days of his fellow "Trek" collaborators, director Joseph Pevney and composer Alexander Courage.
"There seems to be a big 'Star Trek' convention and everyone is going," he said. "Everyone is getting beamed up."
