Title: A Heartwarming Thanksgiving Thread
Post by: Karin on November 28, 2012, 04:03:03 PM
I'm sorry if this is a dupe, I didn't see it here.

What is the reason behind online social sites and people only wanting to hear everything is

a fantasyland?

I posted yesterday that I didn't have anything to be thankful for. A true statement.

I was showered with posts saying not to do things to "my day," and "only positive posts today." Some even told me I was too stupid to know if I have anything to be thankful for and they are so much smarter that they can better tell me what I am thankful for.

Are people just that selfish that they want to dictate what they see from everyone else?

18. That was ignorant crackersnatch

I find the spoiled people are the ones who say offensive shit because they get a charge out of it or they are incapable of comprehending someone in america might actually be suffering, financially and other ways or they try to control what others think or post. Some cannot stand to look at how things ARE for others, maybe they are scared it would perturb their "beautiful mind" or sumpthin'.

And my life has been hell thank you very much..
And I think you have no ****ing clue about me
and you are oblivious to how life really is torment for some people,
you don't know me from shit hunny.

I really look forward to death. I can accept my insignificance, and that the world is ****ed up,wrong and sick.
Maybe your life has been fortunate, well goody for you.

when you get the expected response?

50. I can't say I'm sorry Obama won

because I'm very thankful he won.

Perhaps that's not the outcome you needed to make you happy this month?

I do find it odd that a poster who mocked Sandy victims for not being able to wait a month for power - those ungrateful, lazy, freeloaders - is now whining that nobody respects his self-****ing-pity.

If you have nothing to be thankful for, go volunteer at the local homeless shelter or veterans' home.

I missed that!

Yes, life can suck sometimes.  It can pelt you with an unending stream of lemons.  That said, if you're breathing, you have something to be thankful for.  If you drink clean water and have indoor plumbing, you have something to be thankful for.  If you know where your next meal will come from, you have something to be thankful for.  If you have anyone that cares about you enough to call you friend, or family to tolerate you, you have something to be thankful for.  I could go on...

Harbor Freight is having a sale on single edged razor blades (NMP items are the only thing to buy there) that I will gladly send not one, not two but five to any suicidal DUmmys. No cost. Out of the goodness of my heart and healing white light.

BTW, this is what socialism brings; an equal sharing of misery to all.

OWN IT!!!

I suspect that we'll go several more months without hearing from the panther, wondering what happened to it.

It's off the meds and headed back to the rubber room.

These DUmmies are wimps.  I had a thanksgiving meal that amounted to a ham sandwich and a bag of chips one year.  I still found that I had an awful lot to be thankful for.

I honestly wish I had the power to ship whining brats like RB texla and UGP off to some country in Sub-saharan Africa to live among the natives for one year.  I bet they would kiss the ground when they got back to America and be forever thnkful for what they do have.

Finally, a woman here who's not a sob-sister; a woman who uses her gift of judgement to discern who's worth being concerned about, and who's not.

In a DUmmies world, everything is centered around material possessions.

The poor and needy in this country make the poor and needy in other countries envious.

In fact, the repulsive UGP will probably outlive even Pam Dawson, whose terminal illness threatens to go on for decades.
