REMEMBER EVERYONE - Call ALL of your local WalMarts tomorrow and ask if they are open.

If they answer "yes", say "too bad."

If they answer "no", say "good."

Get the message across. And do NOT set foot in one of them. WalMart is a plague on the country and it needs to die.

Hey DUmmy, Wal Mart is not going to fold because a handful of disgruntled DUmp monkeys who won't enter a Wal Mart anyway, threaten to boycott them.

1. How would they answer 'no' if they're not open?

2. Do you want the people working there to lose their jobs? You have others lined up for them?

Ouch!

I might be a bit confused, but why would they want them to not open tomorrow? Today is Thanksgiving for America today (I think), hence black friday is tomorrow right? Why would any store close on black friday?

On those off occasions I've had to call my local Walmart, an automated system has answered.  The system responds to tone commands.  It doesn't really answer verbal questions.

Ya'know, DUmbasses, Walmarts around here have been open on Thanksgiving for years.  This is not a new development.

From what I've seen, a majority of retail businesses are open both days.
Non retail type business will often be closed. This results in greater numbers of potential shoppers for retail.
Makes perfectly good sense to me.
I also know, many retail outlets will make an effort to accomodate their employees on those days.
The DUmpmonkeys are full of sh**, as usual.

In this "wonderful" Obama economy, even farm supply stores are staying open today.  When you're trying to stay open, every dollar counts.

7. I can't understand why it's a street drug. Not a good high. Fentanyl was worse!!!

I had Fentanyl patches for a very short time. They totally freaked me out and made me vomit constantly, and then there were the "burn marks" from where the patches had been. After three or four days, my wife demanded that I take the patch off and never use it again. I was most willing to comply. I can handle the oxycodone, and lorazapam along with it, but mostly take it in the evening. You do NOT want to be in a car on that shit. It isn't that you can't control the car, but more that you're likely to be sitting at a red light and forget why you aren't moving and pull out into the intersection as if it was a stop sign.

On a side note, my youngest called last night for help with a calculus problem and the first thing she asked was if I was weirded out on drugs or if I could help her. I lost it, but she was right. Sadly, while I knew the answer immediately, I'd forgotten the mechanics (it was over 20 years ago that I got my degree in math). Fortunately there was an out. The question language said something like "solve the problem or explain why you can't" and it was the latter condition. When the reason clicked, I could tell over the phone that she'd visualized the problem and also knew the answer. I wasn't on my drugs, but I had started into a brandy and ginger ale (REALLY rough day yesterday).

FAIL: LONE UNION WORKER WALKS OUT OF WALMART

In an inspiring example of Union Fail, the planned union walkout on Walmart during Black Friday led off with a one-employee walkout at a Walmart in St. Cloud, Florida on Wednesday. The walkout was led by – and entirely constituted by – Vanessa Ferreira, 59. She told her manager that she was going on strike. The other workers watched her leave, shrugged, and went back about their business. The police then warned Ferreira for trespass.

Ferreira has worked for Walmart for eight years in the cakes department, where she decorates cakes. But she says that her wages are too low – at nearly $12 per hour – to survive on. Which, of course, begs the question of how she’s been living on those wages for eight years.

These *******ed American consumers! Who the hell do they think they are wanting low prices? They should get on their knees and praise the non-existent God with thanks for the blessing of $13.75 for a $1 cheeseburger so teenagers can earn $30/hour with 15% union dues. It's the penny-pinching me-me-me meanies that drive down prices and with them, wages. It's that sort of greed we don't need in this country.

We were talking at dinner tonight, all Republicans, the only politics that was brought up was someone saying can you believe how stupid Americans are to re-elect Obama, well anyway, 1 of our relatives said she didn't like the idea of stores opening on Thanksgiving, she said people should be with their family, she said that the other day she was at Walmart and told an employee the same thing, now I don't know if this applies to every Walmart, but the employee told our relative that her store asked the employees who wanted to work and who wanted off, most of the employees wanted to work, and whoever wanted off was given off, our relative was happy to hear that.

When my mom worked there her store had a rotating lottery for the day off and employees worked 4 hour shifts to accommodate time with families where there were too many folks wanting off so ever other year you would get the whole day off.  I seem to recall her working an 8-12 and a 4-8 through the years. She lives with me so I usually just started dinner to work with her schedule so she could eat with us.

Our Walmart opens at 8pm tonight.  All of them.  I don't need to call.  I'm sure if I drove over there, I'd see a massive line right now too.  It's five miles away though and don't feel like going out.

A girl at work has a part time job at Walmart. She said she loves this time of year cause the store will give her as many hours as she wants. She can put in a lot of time over this weekend and gets a big fat paycheck from them as well as her regular job's paycheck. And before the dummies go off the deep end and say we ain't paying her enough, she earns a living salary working for us.

She started working there to pay for her son's college cause she don't believe in debt. Well he ain't going to college anymore so she uses the money for other things.

I asked her one day and she told me she just likes the extra pay so she can buy all the extra clothes, shoes, etc that she wants. Pays cash for it all dummies. She has excellent taste in clothes and don't mind working an extra job to afford the best. Drives a heck of a nice car too. Better than mine but I always considered vehicles as nothing more than transportation and as long as it runs, has AC and heat, I'll drive them till they fall apart. She likes new cars and is willing to work extra to pay for it.

Nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all. She wants the finer things in life and works for those things. Unlike you dummies, she earns her keep. Oh and she see's all you lazy dummies in line at the walmart and it disgusts her.

I requested Black Friday off back in September.  Not to go shopping, but to sleep off my food coma I am slowly sinking into at this very moment.  I'm one of those people who never takes much vacation, so the day after Thanksgiving is a nice extended weekend.  I've earned it.  :)

I was confused, so I rowed over.  HH's post was dated yesterday.  So, he wants everyone to call Walmart on Black Friday and ask if they're open.  The busiest shopping day of the year.  One of the provided answers is "no."  (he says a low-level manager would be manning the phones, telling the throngs that they're not open on Black Friday).

Then, he says that this activity (provided enough DUmmies do this phone stunt), will support the oppressed workers, by making it "go up to corporate."

I dunno.  I'm seriously speechless.

Watching a small protest on Fox and everytime the reporter asks a question the protesters say "talk to the people in the green shirts", so these protesters aren't allowed to talk to the media, are the people in the green shirts afraid that the protesters will come across looking like fools?

They are probably non-union temps, hired by the union to protest but don't have a clue as to what they are protesting. This is the usual MO from the SEIU when dealing with Walmart.

I'm confused.  Usually having holidays off revolves around an employees seniority.  Isn't seniority one of the unions main driving factors?  Why would the dummies want to hurt the unions seniority list?  I thought they would support it.  Let all the low time people work it.  Am I reading that right?

Unless I heard it wrong, one report from a Walmart in Maryland had 400 protesters bused in and zero employees missing from work.

So it looks like the Union thugs are working on a strike for employees that actually want to work.

Second was for some Christmas tree supplies we ended up needing.
Third was the youngun to get some teen supplies.

It's easy for the unions to find people to bus in to stage "strikes" these days considering how many people are out of work.

If I had been the manager at any store that had a hired protest show up I'd have handed out applications to all of them.
