Trust me - he is no lib, and neither is his partner Chris, also mentioned in the article!

Kirk just did what we trained him to do; take whatever action required to maintain control and help people.

I originally called Chris a paramedic, but he's my son's partner in Public Works. They've both done side jobs for us here at home, and Kirk is a certified HVAC guy for the Village of Homewood.
