I know a way to hurt Walmart
If the employees decided to never buy Walmart products. I'll bet that the purchases made by Walmart employees of Walmart products is significant.
Now this may not be a good idea. But as a threat it may have some value. I know employees of Starbucks drink plenty of coffee.

3. How are you going to force the
employees not to buy stuff? They get a discount.

11. Yes, there are.
How do you propose to accomplish this?
Telling people where and on what to spend their money is a crappy idea.

the "telling people" part but I sure like the guy with burning head.

And then another genius scheme:

14. I'm thinking just the opposite.
After Holiday returns impact a corporations bottom line. Walmart
may have a slim margin between cost and retail price in order to
keep their prices so competitive.
I'd like to hear from someone with some knowledge on the subject.
Wondering if those of us that would never shop there did the opposite
of a boycott. Bought one product and returned it following their company
return policy so the we received a full refund within 30 days after purchase.
If we used a credit card it may even be a more costly process for handling
and credit card company charges to the retailer.
Not much to see, but here's the DUmp Link (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021852956).

That's almost as stupid as their idea of filling empty shopping carts and leaving them around the store for employees to clean up.

The exchange between Nevernose and HappyMe was worth checking out. Judging from the spirited debate between those two, Walmart doesn't have too much to worry about. Not enough ambition to really rip into each other.

These are the same ****ing morons who are already camped out in front of Walmart and other box stores in hopes of scoring a bargain. And the rest of them are trolling online for freebies from Obama, such as his Oh phone.

I could be wrong but i bet the employee discount that most businesses give as a benefit to their employees is given by evil walmart and that that discount ends up as a cost to walmart. At worst it is a breakeven affair and that walmart's bottom line would go up if the employees quit buying there.
Also, think how convenient it would be to go to 4-5 stores to get what one can get at walmart on their way out the door far cheaper.
1+1=POTATO.
The left in general and the DUmp specifically is inhabited by a group of children with the associated thinking of children's dreams and inexperience.

And this is why you people fail at business: you know nothing about it.
The store either re-shelves the product or charges it back to the manufacturer if it's defective.
But I have a very nice gift for you.
It's an Acme Electric Bath Warmer.

You may laugh, but BP Oil is still reeling from the effects of the DUmp gasoline boycott.

For people who say they care about the union workers, DUmmies seem to spend a lot of time thinking up ways to make those same union employees work easier.

I don't understand this at all. If Walmart is such a horrible work environment then why do they choose to work there?
It's a mystery.
