Peacefully grant the State of Louisiana to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.

A general waste of a good petition, but I guess they get their point across they don't like the way the government is running.

Sounds good but about as useless as the petition to recall Sen Mary Landrieu of LA. We certainly are self sufficient when it comes to energy and food.

Good idea go back to the Napoleonic laws, woman who are married have no right to their children or any inheritance left to her.
Once married the woman is at the will of their husband. Parent dies and leaves them property, husband can sell it with out wife's knowledge, Oh Joy ,husband decides to throw her out and move in a misstress the wife can no longer see her children.
Yup sounds like an interesting plan in 2012, some how I do not think this idea will work.
There is a House in New Orleans call the Rising Sun , many of the still there from what I hear.

I love Louisiana. Would be nice if Texas, Louisiana and the Red states could make their own country. The federalies were never meant to have this much power.

I would vote for that. Conservatives would be welcome from other states. However, there would be a "no welcome sign for liberals".

It sounds good to me.
As for Vesta, I have no idea where she got all that hoopla she was spilling, it had nothing to do with the petition.
