Feel free to support your answer with examples of good or bad pardons.

The Constitution places no such limits on the Presidential pardon power, you can't pick and choose which Constitutional powers you're willing to see exercised and still claim to fully support Constitutional government. Most Presidents are mindful enough of their record to not get carried away with this, although giving the MSM complicity in supporting Obama and his own short-sightedness, there is certainly a potential for abuse.
On the plus side, his lapdog Holder has successfully avoided not only charging any of the Administration members with anything, but also preventing even the investigation of any of them. A pardon has to be from something concrete, at least an indictment or other formal charging instrument, it's not the same as transactional immunity for uncharged and probably unknown misconduct. The problem therefore isn't going to come up if Obama loses this election.

Pardons should only be valid for offenses which have made their way through the legitimate court system. The sort of pre-emptive pardon, like Gerald Ford issued for Dick Nixon, or like Comrade Billy Jeff was issuing by the ream at the end of his term, where a fugitive from justice, or someone who hasn't even been charged, yet, doesn't even have to be found GUILTY of their acts before the Chief Executive bestows a "Thou art forgiven" from on high.

Obama will pardon himself and Holder and throw everone else under the bus.
-
Pardons are issued for crimes committed by felons, not for suspicion of such crimes.

:werd: Or, if you're a Dhimmi'Rat President, you sign off on a plea deal in the last hours before you surrender center seat, plead guilty to felony perjury and surrender your law license in exchange for not having to go from two terms in the White House, to a term in the Big House.
-
Exactly. With Nixon, there was a Special Prosecutor charging and pursuing prosecutions of many of the players after the conclusion of his investigation, there was at least something concrete Nixon could be charged with ease (Already having been named as an 'Unindicted co-conspirator,' it would only take him leaving office to have gotten rid of the 'Un'). Obama and Holder, with a willing MSM, have successfully staved off even any independent formal criminal investigation of any of their bullshit.
