The president said helping people recover from the storm is his “number one priority.†Reporters asked about the frustration of residents in places such as Staten Island, but Mr. Obama did not respond to their questions.

Between every campaign stump speech he is on the phone getting things done people!!! <--- the base is the only one who is believing that. The folks in Staten Island have one gesture for the man who wants to remain president. :bird:

An excerpt rom the press pool report, which starts with a quote from Obama:
“There is nothing more important than us getting this right. And we’re going to spend as much time, effort and energy as necessary to make sure all the people of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut know that the entire country is behind them in this difficult recovery effort.â€
He spoke for about five minutes. Pool asked about frustrations of people, particularly Staten Island. He did not respond.
