My wife and I hit 83 doors for GOTV today
Richmond VA northisde
Our 10th anniversary was yesterday.
We both have off through Tuesday - she is going to be "Ride to the polls" Captain. Apparently they want me "in the field".
The Kaine campaign merges with OFA - the Kaine campaign is a JUGGERNAUT!!!

I feel bad for those 83 people that had to put up with a pair of moonbats begging for them to vote for Barry.
I'm glad the moonbat brigade hasn't been knocking on my door. If they do I will just point to my truck and tell them to look at the bumperstickers. :-)

4. In my canvassing and interactions with Dem voters
over the past month I have yet to meet one who is voting for Robme.
OMG we are doomed since democrats are going to vote for a democrat. :lmao:

I haven't had any come by but, I expect I would tell them whatever they wanted to hear. Gets rid of them quicker & reduces chances of a fire insurance claim later.

I actually had two moonbats knock on the door while fixing my sump pump today. I told them I supported obumbles to the max and would they please bring me some bumper stickers and signs to put in my yard?
When or if they do... I will thank them and then I will throw them away as soon as they leave. If they show back up, I will say someone stole them and would they please bring me some more? :-)

when I was there the husband was watching Faux News!

Years ago I did door knocking and we simply were reminding people it was election day.
This was before all the early voting, etc.
It was amazing how many people forgot what day it was and many thanked us for the reminder. Our visits were non political in nature. We were just knocking on doors reminding people it was election day and providing them a list of polling places. We helped one senior citizen with her garage door so she could go vote.
I don't think many are going to forget this year. :-)

We don't have them here since our state seems to have tipped further into the red now.
If we did, I'd be more than happy to invite them in for a cup of coffee-tea-snacks-whatever, just so I can tie up as much of their time as possible, knowing full well how I'm going to vote.

We just hung a "Young Americans for Romney" sign in our window. Any Obama supporters going door-to-door will (hopefully!) skip our house. If not, we will just open the door while open carrying and let them go on with their spiel or run away. Whatever comes first.

We're (at least, I myself feel lucky, the husband not so much) blessed to live in a very conservative area, so no canvassers anywhere in sight.
2008 was a different matter. I finally had to post a sign on my front door saying, "Don't even think about knocking on this door for Obama!" It really did get that bad. I would even get accosted at intersections by OFA canvassers beating on my car windows. Of course, it was Durham, NC and it's a liberal sinkhole.

Hly crap! That's out of hand!
The only door knocker we've had was for the R congressional challenger. They didn't browbeat anyone, just handed over the card for Doheney and reminded us that Tuesday was election day.
And if a moonbat came sniffing around, I too, would hog up all his time and take a lot of his materials.

It happened at Alston and Durham Hwy near NC Central. I had to drive that way to get to and from the V.A. It's a bad enough area at any time, but was saturated with out of control Obie supporters then. From hawking Obie t-shirts to harassing passersby, it was liberal lunacy of the highest degree. I love NC, but that area is the pits.

My next door neighbor finally put up a sign today for Obama. I just said "Well Duh". You would understand if you saw him.
