Here is the new Obamacare tax form they will be requiring everyone to use next year. Yes, it's only a page, but it is exactly what we've been saying for years would happen.

Thanks for finding that.
Did it come with instructions? Check out box 13 where you compute your penalty. You need section "L" to figure that out.

In the event that President Obama is re-elected, please consult your tax preparation specialist on the appropriate information you may need to collect in addition to the information requested by this form. Failing to comply with the Obamacare Tax Mandate could result in severe financial penalties and interest against your personal property.
If Mitt Romney defeats President Obama on Election Day, November 6, 2012, and Republicans take control of the Senate and maintain their majority in the US House, you may disregard this form as Romney has promised to repeal Obamacare.
All we need to know.

Even if Romney is elected, there is no way in hell Obamacare is going to be repealed.
It may be amended and altered and even restructured, but we're stuck with this abomination for all perpetuity. :whatever:
-
I. Illegal Immigrants. Individuals who are in the United States and are undocu- mented are exempt from the individual mandate.
Exempt, but us tax payers will be paying for their insurance!
I shared this on facebook. I been limitedly posting political stuff. But this one is something that needs to get out there.

Yep the house can repeal it all day long the Senate will not go along with it. Unless we get a miracle and take the Senate too.

I'm gonna claim I'm an illegal then.

Sorry, but it's my expressed opinion that even if the Repubs take the Senate, some form of Obamacare will stay. There simply isn't the political will to completely shitcan the thing.
Both Dems and Repubs agree that the current health care system is brokedick. That, combined with the frivolous tort system, leads to the ol' "Potomac Two-Step" in which the inevitable horse trading will go on and the end result is going to be that a public health care system is going to stay.
I don't like it, but that's what's going to happen. Mark my words.

ugh-oh - right out of the gate it's not looking very clear....
so how are we supposed to know if our insurance is "qualified" by HHS?
1. Determination of “qualifying†health insurance. Under the Affordable Care Act, most Americans must purchase health insurance deemed “qualified†by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) starting in 2014. Failure to comply with this mandate results in a tax penalty which must be paid to the IRS. The tax penalty ranges from $695 to $2085, or more, depending on the size of a family. The dollar amount grows over time and is tabulated on the form. Taxpayers must demonstrate that they obtained qualifying health insurance for each month of the year in order to avoid payment of this tax penalty.

Of if that correct respose is "None of the above"?

I'm predicting the whole thing is going to stay. Mark my words. :-)

I remember Ryan saying 85% of it can be repealed because it deals with taxing & spending.

Yep, they passed it with less than 60 and called it a spending bill, so it can be repealed that way. Enforcement could also be defunded.

Romney said that he is going to repeal it and then replace it with the thing that everyone likes...

Saying and doing are two different things.

The federal government getting it's ****ing nose out of health care? :hi5:

I can see ObamaCrap getting repealed in a few years, if not sooner. Once Medicaid and Medicare users find out that they got shafted by Obama they will be out for blood.
I've noticed the AARP insurance ads throw in a quick disclaimer about keeping your same doctor that takes Medicare. A lot of them won't for very long.

For one thing, even if we don't take the Senate, but Romney wins (pretty much foregone conclusion), there will be a new HHS Secretary with new rules.
-
Is it really going to say Obamacare at the top? That felt like a red flag to me. lol.
As for Romney getting rid of Obamacare: I believe he'll get it done, but it won't be a return to healthcare before Obama either. Something in between. I'm hoping that he'll open up drilling more and a lot of other conservative issues will start gaining traction.

Cute spoof form. Somebody got creative.
I liked this part on the bottom:
