Global weather change is real
I hope Sandy wakes people up.
No, it's not a single storm...it is the pattern.

It's global CLIMATE change that we need to be concerned with.

4. Yes and, that is my point
I hope this weather event tat fits into a pattern finally wakes AMERICANS up. In Mexico city, have been feeling the effects for a generation, this is not even open for debate.
It is real, it is happening and weather is getting more strange and violent due to more energy in the atmosphere, due to increased heat in the atmosphere. In the US...we are still having this shitty, yes, it's shitty, discussion.
If you goons really cared as much as you claim you do, you would shut off your computer, turn off all your lights and walk every where you went. Why is it ok for you to use fossil fuels but not the rest of us?

It's a pattern.
It happens every few decades.
-
Good grief! I guess 1938 never happened, huh DUmbBUnnies! If ya had any grasp of histrory you'd find we have been due one of these storms for well over 2 decades!
DUmmies is soooooooooo stooooopid!
-
I was listening to a weatherman on Hannity and he said we are in the same pattern like there was during the '50's.
It's being caused by a cold Pacific and a warm Atlantic, and it's likely to continue for awhile.
-
Someone take away Nadin's internet.
-
Great events can have little causes. In this case, the immediate cause is most likely little more that the coincidental alignment of a tropical storm with an extratropical storm. Both frequent the west Atlantic in October…nothing unusual with that. On rare occasions their timing is such as to result in an interaction which can lead to an extreme event along the eastern seaboard. As to underlying causes, neither the frequency of tropical or extratropical cyclones over the North Atlantic are projected to appreciably change due to climate change, nor have there been indications of a change in their statistical behavior over this region in recent decades.

I think it was ABC News I was halfass watching last night when the mayor of New York Citygot his little climate "change dig" in.
DUmmie politicians never miss a chance to get on the turnip truck.
-
Its the pattern ?
If so, might I suggest that the climate is getting colder, not warmer. Sandy is the first big storm to make it this far up the eastern seaboard this season.
-
Maybe if Nadin would shut the **** up globull warming wouldn't be a problem.
-
They've convinced me.
It's chilly today, and last week it was warm.
Damn that Bush.

Great find. :II:
Joe Bastardi, weatherman and global warming skeptic, was just talking about all the storms in the 50's. He said we are in the same pattern. There were something like 10 major hurricanes on the eastcoast over 10 years. We've been through this before and there are probably going to be more for awhile.

I heard the overnight news moron on ABC this morning trying to puff up Sandy. "Sure it was a catagory 1 but it was like it was wrapped around a catagory 3."
I woke everyone up again.... :whatever:

I know they hate this but this is why they fail.
this is not even open for debate.

Actually it was wrapped around a Cat 4. Irene was the same.
-
History is not the DUmmies strong subject! What do ya expect? Most of 'em can't find their ass with both hands on a sunny day!

Actually it was wrapped around a Cat 4. Irene was the same.
It affected New York City, so it must have been at least Category 6.

The best part of posting
supperman zappaman quotes here, is that Nadin gets to see them. At CC, her 'iggy list' is meaningless.
