lf Romney really wanted to help, why hasn't he transfered his Cayman Island money to the Red Cross?
for donations?
Just asking...

I'm willing to bet that he quietly slipped a nice check into the collection box. Unlike 0bama who if he bothers to donate will call a press conference and have a photo taken as he signs the check.
Part of Mitt's problem, as far as the goons are concerned, is he never toots his own horn, he quietly does what needs to be done then moves on.

4. He wants to help, but
he doesn't want to go all socialistic
More proof that you have no understanding at all. Socialistic, as you call it, is not when someone willingly gives, it is when the government forces one to give.

I'll lay odds, we will not know how much the Rom did until well past the election. He just ain't built that way.
The Bummer on the other hand won't donate a ****in' dime. Don't doubt me!

If you really care about offshore accounts why are you voting for Obama?
[T]he bulk of the Obamas’ admittedly brief portfolio is invested in Chicago-based Northern Trust Corporation, a firm that has conducted itself in a manner that some might call ‘vampire-like.’ In 2003, the company, which was a trustee of Enron’s 401(k) retirement plan, was accused of having knowingly failed to prevent employees’ pensions from evaporating. A federal judge cleared the way for a lawsuit against Enron and Northern Trust for ‘misleading company employees by encouraging and in some cases requiring them to hold Enron stock in their retirement accounts, at a time when the stock price plummeted from an artificially inflated level.’ In the case, which commanded national attention, several former Enron executives were charged with manipulating the company’s financial results, ultimately driving it into bankruptcy. [Obama's tax return for 2011 is here.]

The dummies aren't very smart about things are they?
My understanding is that these are "blind trust" investments. They don't know where their money is invested, so there isn't any way to accuse them of "padding" their own nests, so to speak.
