Re: DUer Redstone

his Legacy Guestbook will be taken offline this week.  I can't believe it's been that long.

For anyone who wants to read through it one last time, here is the link:

1. I didn't realize he was gone, thanks. nt

2. I had no idea he had passed.

But then again, I take leave of DU every now and again so it might have been during one of my absences. I certainly remember the "Redstone" name but nothing specific about the poster. (Belated) condolences to his friends and family.

More like you take leave of your senses.

12. I always enjoyed his presence on DU. I'm sorry he's gone, I know he'll be missed.

Apparently he won't be missed.

Not nearly enough, imo.

And, a 'David Allen.' :whistling:

I don't think they ever determined if his fatal overdose was intentional or accidental.

It's curious how DUmmy Redstone is roasting in hell, while DUmmy Taverner is still shooting up every day.

Of course, when you're talking eternity, a year or two one way or the other hardly matters.

How can so many primitives not realize that RedStone is StoneDed, and has been for quite some time ?

When you are as self-involved as the DUmmies, it's easy to overlook the small things like death.

Plus the smell of death is the same whether alive or dead with them.

Majority of the people who signed the memory page were DUers. I am requesting right now, if I die in the near future, please don't reference CC or that you knew me only on a message board and don't use my board name BEG.  I found it rather sad that that was all that knew him.

I was KMA (kiss my ***) from DU and wrote a poem.  Note the first letter in each line of the poem, read downwards, reads "LIBERALS ARE SO STUPID."

-----------

Life is precious to us all on this journey
Inside all of us a love that gives exists
Brevity of life demands we find our inner peace
Everyone must do their part for their fellowman
Remember those who have gone on before
Always caring for others before self
Love that had no beginning and no end
Sharing truth with those around us
Always pressing onward towards tomorrow
Reflecting on the peace we strive onward
Ever inching closer to our goal
Simply wanting a better world for our children
Others may jeer and jest at our motives
Saying things to tear and break us down
Truth cannot be quiet
Upon the mountains and in the valleys we shout
Peace to all and love for all mankind
Inside us all is love's abounding message
Deliver us all to hope and peace and love.

-------------

I cried when I wrote it...... from laughter.  He was trash.

RIH, bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive.  Good riddance.

I wonder if he ever confronted a cop, any cop, in Arizona, as he said he would in this DU2 archived thread.

Those racist Arizonan assholes are going to tell me I have to carry my passport or birth certificate IN AN AMERICAN STATE?
That any pissant local cop can demand that I prove my American citizenship?

As best I can recall, there was never a follow-up to describe the ass-kicking.  Imagine that!

My response to your poem. ...

Goodness is its own reward
Remembering those that have passed
Enriching the lives of those still here
Always being a guiding light
Taking the time to reach those in need
Just being a friend when it matters
Only you can make a difference
Believe and it will become reality.

You know, the primitives are pathetic, absolutely abysmal, ungrateful rectal apertures.

Chief S itting Bull contributed a great deal to Skins's island, much of it his own work, his own carefully-crafted literary creations.

He was the Greatest Primitive Ever; when a Mount Rushmore of the greatest primitives is ever sculpted, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive's angry mug will dominate, in a place similar with that of George Washington on the real Mount Rushmore, the other three (whoever they'll be) sort of in back of the line.

But when he died, there were only two memorial threads on Skins's island; one by his good friend the CalPig primitive, and a "silent thread" by the brain-damaged primitive, and both had receded to the back pages by the end of the day.

The primitives have an odd set of priorities.

The primitive heroes seem to be one guy who merely copied-and-pasted news stories--didn't create any original works--and the late red round one, who was around for about seven months, and was always asking for money.

Neither of which was worthy of licking Chief S itting Bull's moccasins.

When the other two died, the primitive grief-fest went on for days.

They don't experience time the way decent, normal, sane people do.

I suppose - constantly being high and never seeing the sun - save for what rays peek through greasy basement windows - might have that effect.

They don't experience time the way decent, normal, sane people do.

I was appalled at the primitive reaction, when the CalPig primitive first announced the sad news.

Since Chief S itting Bull had added so much to Skins's island during his long time there--unlike the late red round one, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive had been around for years and years--I expected several campfires to burn greatly, and for days.

Perhaps the ultimate insult was when the Bostonian Drunkard wrote his shortest screed ever, two words--"I'm sorry"--and nothing more than that.  What a way to treat a guy who'd been a guest in one's own home, and kissed the hand of the maternal ancestress, I thought.

He was certainly worth far more than the book-length treatment the Bostonian Drunkard had given the late red round one.

It was very sad; the primitives had Greatness in their midst, and never appreciated it.

They probably assumed he was one of the many casualties of a DU purge.
