Late Monday morning, the Romney campaign said the governor's rally Monday night at the Expo Center at State Fair Park in West Allis was canceled "out of sensitivity for the millions of Americans in the path of Hurricane Sandy," said Gail Gitcho, Romney's communications director, in a statement Monday.
Congressman Paul Ryan's was scheduled to appear Monday night in Melbourne and Lakeland, Fla.
"We are also canceling all events currently scheduled for both Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan on Tuesday," the Romney campaign said. "Gov. Romney believes this is a time for the nation and its leaders to come together to focus on those Americans who are in (harm's) way."

No question this is the right thing to do, but am bummed as I had planned to attend the rally tonight just outside of Milwaukee. In a related matter, word is Moochelle is staying on the campaign trail so Ryan should stay on the trail as well.
