Did I really just hear that Chris Christie declared emergency...

...opening the way for Federal Funds?

HEY. CHRIS! It'S NEW JERSEY'S PROBLEM! NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S!

Skip two meals a day and you'll save enough to bail out half your state!

(Sorry, I know this will upset a lot of DU'ers, but nasty bully hate-monger Christie owes a karmic debt. He hates on everyone, but now he comes begging for help from the people he shits on. NO SYMPATHY...except for the people of New Jersey who would vote for him or Romney. They owe part of the debt for Christie's madness.)
So your yammering about how Bush didn't do anything for New Orleans after Katrina was pure BS then?
What a hypocrite  :loser:

And if Christie hadn't done this...TexasToast would have bashed him for refusing help.

Liberalism gives you the ability to take any side on any issue...even if it contradicts what you've said before...in order to never be wrong.

Did he ask for a truck load of step ladders so the could get the bodies out of the trees?

Ol' Rob, the draftsman of the empty cartoon bubbles, isn't happy unless he isn't happy, and spreading his unhappiness to others.

It sounds like the evil twin had a painful haemorrhoidal attack.

Shit happens.

Pedro has a problem distinguishing between legitimate functions of gov't (roads, police, fire dept) and issues of which the gov't has no business being involved (healthcare).  It doesn't matter how many times it is explained to him, he's too stupid to understand.

Poor Pedro.

You need to give ol' McGrath a break. Since being terminated by the Mission Control junk mail outfit, he's done nothing but watch PMSNBC all day, shouting at the various moonbat hosts and their various moonbat guests.

Meanwhile, he's seeing mountains of political junk mail, every piece of which is another reminder that the reason he's sitting at home is his overwhelming incompetence.

Deep down, Pedro has always known he's an utterly untalented loser, but it has to be horribly humiliating to have that confirmed by a half-assed outfit like Mission Control.

As long as the citizens of NJ are forced to pay exorbitant taxation to the federal government, there is no ethical dilemma in trying to recoup as much of that money as possible when needed. Indeed, it would be foolish not to.

If in some alternate universe, NJ was able to opt out of those taxes on principle and Christie went begging for help anyway, then one could level accusations of hypocrisy. But that is not the case here.

Never expect a DU idiot to see the difference, though.

Some are genuinely ignorant.

Some are simply lashing-out because they're fearful and frustrated over not having a viable response.

But most are simply malicious souls who distort everything out of bitterness and anger at a world that does not worship them.

All liberals do.  That's why they are so ignorant and lose every argument.

Don't forget a fourth category, Snugs--the moles who are ever so gently agitating things, and whose camoflauge is doing well.

Well, given that the corrupt governor of Connecticut's closed all the highways, one hopes Atman had the presence of mind beforehand to stock up on half a warehouse of cases of Perrier water, to see him through this.

The last time, my evil twin had to lug buckets of water from the lake to pour into the commodes of his house because the water lines were out.  This must've been quite a comedown for someone who pipes Perrier water in there, because ordinary water's not good enough.

Pedro's making a DOTY run.
Saw that happen last year with gNads.

Yeah, but the oblate spheroid primitive never stopped that run.  Assman doesn't have that kind of stamina.

She started slow, had a few "issues", as you recall, then made a glorious run at the end.
Pedro has been lagging early in the game. Now the lad is doubling-down for the end run.
Perhaps the little piker is hoping to pull a gNads this year.

C'mon, Coach--do you actually think that Assman thought ahead?  :rotf: :lmao: :rotf: :lmao:

Not just "no," but "no effin' way."
