n a story that is still unfolding, State Democrats in Washington continue to resist calls to return more than $66,000 in donations received from Yelm-based “mystic” J.Z. Knight after videos of tirades peppered with hate speech directed at Catholics, Jews and gays became public earlier this week.

Knight’s attorneys and Democrats in Washington state have claimed the videos previously released are heavily-edited and show Knight’s statements out of context. An almost two-minute unedited video clip released Friday that contains new slurs against Catholics and Mexicans may silence Knight’s apologists.
