Just Got Back From Early Voting in Florida and The GOP Plan is Working....

Load up the ballot with long-worded Rethug/Fundy amendments and slow down the lines.
They have instructed their voters to take their time and vote YES on all of them !

My advice to our folks - Vote No on all amendments(vote YES on Retaining the Judges) and Buzz through.
The Lines are slow and long !! Be patient - Do Not Leave !

Let's beat these ****ers !!!!

Rags
PS - I am not in a good mood after seeing this shit today.

Hey genius, they have this thing called a sample ballot that they sent out last month. All you have to do is, go over that ballot and read and research all the amendments then when you get to the polls, you will know what each amendment is and how to vote on it. If you can't be bothered to prepare yourself before you vote then you have no business bitching and moaning that you aren't prepared.

1. OMG!

Those amendments would've been impossible to read through if I had not gone through them before I left the house. Amendment 6 that defunds abortion is downright offensive.

I hope I didn't skew my ballot with how hard I pressed "NO" with my felt tip marker.

We definitely need to vote in off-cycle elections to get these puke goons out of office.

2. How can that advice get out to people at this point?

Seems like Dem voters need to be informed not to waste their time

There is another thread where a DUmmy is bitching that in AZ the repukes appear first on the ballot. I swear these people have the mentality of a child, they need someone to do all their thinking for them and if they have to mark the second bubble it's such a chore.  :banghead:

Uh, generally by reading the newspapers every day, one gets an idea what each of the amendments are about, and can make up the mind how one's going to vote on them long before one goes to the polls.

I would really like to know why the primitives are voting AGAINST extending the Homestead Act property tax discount to veterans disabled from a combat injury.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two volunteer poll workers at an Ohio voting station told Human Events that they observed van loads of Ohio residents born in Somalia — the state is home to the second-largest Somali population in the United States — being driven to the voting station and guided by Democratic interpreters on the voting process. No Republican interpreters were present, according to these volunteers.

Ballot language:

NO.2 CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ARTICLE VII, SECTION 6- ARTICLE X88 SECTION 32
Veterans Disabled Due to Combat Injury; Homestead Property Tax Discount
Proposing an amendment to Section 6 of Article VII and the creation of Section 32 of Article XII of the State Constitution to expand the availability of the property discount on the homestead of veterans who became disabled as the result of a combat injury to include those who were not Florida residents when they entered the military and schedule the amendment to take effect January 1, 2013.

Every time I've voted in a general election in Florida there are a lot of amendments and judgeships and so forth to vote on in addition to the other offices. This is nothing new. It doesn't take that much longer to vote on them, especially if you bothered to read them in the paper beforehand.

I brought this up about a week ago when the DUmmies were lamenting all the amendments, and talking about how the  Fla. League Of Women Voters were advising to vote "No" on all of them in protest. There's another amendment that gives property tax breaks to the spouses of veterans and first-responders killed in the line of duty. Not a single DUmbass brought it up, which tells me they either don't care ot haven't bothered to read the amendments.

"Informed voters" my ass.

Oh the dummies know all about it Dandi. Problem is, it doesn't affect the dummies... they ain't getting any free shit in other words... so they don't care. Now if this was put on the ballot: "Give lazy dummies free shit." they would be all over it.

Voting is such a burden for DUmmies. Try to think of voting on amendments as up or down twinkles.
Sure these may be GOP sponsored amendments, but nothing stops the democrats from sponsoring amendments either. Freedom. Democracy...are these really alien concepts for you, RagAss?

Is it really some sort of dirty trick that an opposition party might utilize the same democratic process to put an amendment up for a vote? Is a two-party system difficult for a dictator wannabe like you?

Being as I am in Maryland I just vote no on everything and vote for republicans for office.  Not that it does any good, I'm overrun by moonbats and people who vote for Steny because he steers money there way.

This time, I am voting in federal elections and amendments only.  I am angry that the Republican party leadership in Maryland is supporting the expansion of casinos claiming "the money goes to WV, DE, and PA right now."  They may be as weak as they come but they never really did fight O'Money and the Democrats.  Not that it matters, Democrats could sodomize a little boy en masse, live on TV and most Maryland citizens would still vote for them.

Whoa.  You live in Steny Hoyer's district?

To make a long story short, there's a guy who works in supersecret naval stuff, a civilian, who worked for me in Lincoln circa twenty years ago.  Whenever he came back to Nebraska for hunting, I demanded that he bring all of his copies of the newspaper St. Mary's Today.

A great paper at the time, St. Mary's Today.

I used to read every single word in it.

I'll take a look to see if it's still around.  I live in an adjacent county, and may be down that way as I try to set up a business.  The only one I know of down there isn't that one, and the editor of that rag hates the county sheriff with a burining passion.

Yeah, St. Mary's is the same as it ever was.  The only place wher I have ever overheard the following conversation, verbatim I think:

Cube neighbor 1 (female) to Cube neighbor 2 (female):  I finally found myself a guy this weekend!

Cube neighbor 2: Oh really!  Where?

Cube neighbor 1: At the family reunion!  (I kid you not.)

Cube neighbor 2: Who is he?

Cube neighbor 1: He's my cousin.

Cube neighbor 2: (No surprise in her reaction) What does he look like?

Cube neighbor 1:  He looks just like me!

Me:  Shouldn't that be your second clue?

Cube neighbor 1:  What do you mean?

Me:  Your family is dangerously inbred, and you've been told not to do keep doing it.  He is your cousin.  He looks just like you.  Grab a freaking clue.

Cube neighbor 2: Well, what are  we supposed to do, the damage is already done?

Me: Get in your cars and drive at least 100 miles away.  Do not "find" a man until your there.  That outcome is almost certainly better than another generation of inbreds.

Cube neighbor 1: How dare you call us inbred, this is our culture!  (Ignoring that they are, in fact, dangerously inbred.)

Me:  I'm sorry, I meant no offense.  (Now about that fifteen minutes of work the comapny gets out of you two every day.)

(Then there is the conversation where those two discovered they were cousins.)

It was great; during the early 1990s, probably the lousiest cut-and-paste job of any newspaper.

But the editor obviously made no secret that he disliked a lot of local and county officials.  It was refreshing to read an editor actually speaking his mind about people and things.

This is a jewel. Howard Fineman tweeted that this could very well indicate an Obama loss, and the DUmmies have gone apeshit. The majority of the Election 2012 forum is Howard Fineman hate threads, or the allegation that Bain bought Des Moines Register, of which I find zero evidence.  They really are apoplectic.  Their Chicago Jesus is in jeopardy.   :bwah: :bwah:
